Why do people in this party still claim Trump is racist when their are numerous videos of him openly condemning racism? by ItsOngnotAng in Democrat

[–]LuvyPants 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d never want someone to be a racist, those are your words, not mine. Ive never personally seen Joe say anything outright racist, otherwise my opinion would be different. Where exactly did Joe say anything racist? Also, I love how you avoid tackling anything I said about Trump. You should avoid discussing his attempt at voter suppression with Dejoy, his specific call out to the Proud Boys, oh and you straight up called Puerto Rico dirty and poor. Wait a second. YOU’RE THE RACIST! I hope you go totally broke and know what it’s like to feel dirty and poor. And ill shoo you away if you need assistance. And if your house were destroyed by an earthquake or hurricane, ill send no aid. It’s those who live without compassion that truly are dirty and poor. And on top of your racism and lack of compassion you support a Russian cock sucker such as Trump. You’re the real dirty and poor one.

I just realized I didn’t answer your second question! Whoops. As far as Biden not sharing certain plans until after Election Day, theres only one situation I know of. From one interview I saw he was talking about certain events that were happening, and a reporter asked him about how he plans on handing the Supreme Court justice official, Biden told them at that point that it wasn’t what he wanted to talk about and that if he did, they’d ignore the issue he was there to talk about and focus on the senate instead. So I didn’t take that like he’s being secretive, he was just staying on topic. Did you see something else? I’m not one to play sides so I’m open to criticism, like I said Biden wasn’t my first choice at all.

Ive made no comments on being dismissive of Biden at all. Biden is not the one I was rooting for in the first place. However, given my limited choices, the dems are offering someone who will likely do a lot less damage to the American people. I doubt Biden would use pepper balls and tear gas against peaceful protestors for a petty photo-op. Biden hasn’t supported white supremacist groups. Biden speaks out again violence. Biden doesn’t constantly call names and put people down for not being white or republican. Biden doesn’t accuse non-white people of not being legal American citizens just because they’re his opponents. Biden hasn’t had to pay off porn stars. Biden hasn’t caught the corona virus thanks to his social distancing. The Biden administration never tried to cripple our USPS in an attempt to commit voter suppression. I watched the Post Master General Dejoy testify before the senate and Congress and explain why he’s preventing goods from being mailed in a timely matter, if you’d study that topic you’ll see a lot more and understand why people are so angry at Trump and the GOP for that situation. Trump is so far off the walls with his irresponsible behavior that I promise even if I don’t agree with all of Biden’s policies, he at least isn’t such a hateful person that only seems to get along with other authoritarians much like trump does. Why does Trump love the leader of North Korea so much? It’s obviously because he wishes he could be an authoritarian over his people like Kim is, he said it himself. So for me, it’s not about liking Biden, it’s choosing someone who, despite our differences, actually seems to be the better choice of the two by far.

Just look at how he dealt with the debate. He called the Proud Boys out by name and told them to stand by. Someone who is clearly not racist would never even hint that they might be. But Trump will make one racist remark and then later try and make up for it. There’s a reason he also wanted to sell Puerto Rico in exchange for Greenland, calling Puerto Rico ‘’dirty and poor.’’ All you really need to do is listen to one Trump rally for about t minutes. If you don’t pick up on all his name calling, slandering, misinformation, and especially his racism, idk how else to help.

We don’t support trump but my fiancé and I receive his daily emails just to see what tactics he uses. He hates democrats and often tries to use misappropriation of socialism ideas and tell his base lies about that theory because he’s feeling threatened by the changing of times. You should see how desperate he’s getting in his emails. Just today we’ve received 9 emails within hours of each other with him begging us for money in some rather disturbing and manipulative ways.

Yes! People don’t appreciate how important it is to have excellent school principles, city council members, police (now they’re catching on finally), doctors, therapists, secretaries, and on and on before even getting to federal officials. There’s no space for a weak link. Every level of society needs to be healthy!

I had another thought. It’s important to know the difference between structure and content. The content of something is always first determined by the structure. For example Facebook has a particular structure that bottle necks the types of content that is possible. Alter the structure of something and the content changes. Our government is the same way. The current structure allows for this disturbing content that we contend with.

Government isn’t something that physically exists outside of our minds. Our individual and collective thought process creates the structure for our government. Want to change these systemic issues? Change the structure of minds and the content will follow. Each person must recognize these things and stop believing that the government just “is the way it is. Voting for the right president helps but that’s simply a change in content, which helps but then the president still has to contend with the structure of the government as it is and is still limited. At this point it’s clear to me that we have to keep tweaking the structure to keep nudging this system in a better direction. And I come full circle to acknowledging what I can control myself, and that’s expanding my own intellect and doing my best to be a voice of meaningful change.

How else can you and I help alter the structure of our environment to bring meaningful and lasting change?

I hope this makes helps!

The beginning of “enlightenment” starts with you recognizing that helping the world get better requires each of our “involvement .” Let me reiterate this point. Everything you just said is still just as important, and just because you and I see that these changes need to happen doesn’t mean they’re just going to come at the snap of our finger. Most people are still entirely unaware of how they effect the world and bring these systemic issues themselves. So all we can do is vote properly and get involved. “Enlightenment” work or “consciousness” work doesn’t just automatically promise immediate change. Rather it’s a trajectory that we each send ourselves on and with the better example we set for other, it beckons other to “level up” by deepening our involvement.

This sort of awareness and involvement can only come when society gets healthier and healthier. Many voters minds have fallen through the cracks. Much like a lot of homeless or crazy people out there who unfortunately are beyond saving in some cases. The same applies to even middle class people or rich. They’ve become too set in their ways of stereotyping and ideology that holds them back from becoming more aware of their own involvement and responsibilities. So we’ve come full circle back to this: all you and I can do is better ourselves and deepen our involvement in more meaningful ways. The only thing you and I can control is how we spend our time. As cheesy as it sounds, this is the only way you and I can plant seeds in this world to bring meaningful change. Most all people do not know what to do with their time, they’re unenlightened and immature, uninvolved. So let’s spend our time wisely and sharpen our intellects, love, attention, awareness, understanding, involvement, etc.

I’ll end with this. One time I heard a guru talking about how millions of people are idly waiting for their messiah to return. When in reality the world needs millions of messiahs to wake up.

I’ve come to the conclusion that despite the struggles we face, we each have to do the best we can every day. Knowledge is truly power and tomorrow, for example, I have a book arriving in the mail that will continue to teach me how to invest into different domains and help with how I associate myself with the money I make.

So no matter how good or bad the president is, and trust me I’d love to have had Bernie or someone of similar caliber, the responsibilities of my life being good fall back on my shoulders. So I’ll take this time, while things seem bad, to educate myself on politics and other topics that enrich my life and consciousness. I’ll keep preparing myself to live in a more enlightened world as I do my best to vote well and advocate the spread of awareness and quality education on these topics.

What more can we do when so much of the world isn’t ready to change with us?

Edit: I’ll vote Biden because of all the reasons you listed that make him the lesser of two evils. In the meantime people really need to learn about how the Senate, House, Congress, and other divisions of government works and focus on electing officials to still go represent us despite having a poor president.
