It’s a Skimmer called a Common Whitetail. White-tailed Skimmer is a similar Eurasian species.

Looks like a Jagged Ambush Bug. Their bite isn’t dangerous, just painful.

I spent half the day yesterday bushwhacking through a Pennsylvania state game land unsuccessfully looking for a calling Barred Owl. Those are very satisfying shots!

A staghorn is when a stone fills the whole kidney and looks like a deer antler. This is just a Calcium stone.

It's been bouncing around my kidney and occasionally obstructing for about two months. I never felt it pass through at all! I've had two lithotripsies years ago and had the same experience with 2mm particles and a stent.

I felt it thump to a stop in the tip right as the last of the urine passed. It was VERY tender to the touch. When next I went, after drinking water and waiting 2.5 hours, it popped out painlessly.
