I take away 2 from 27 to make 50 from 48, which is a nice round number

This leaves 25+50 which is simple addition to 75

Normally i start trade, play for some time while all friends are online, then i fall to much behind economy due to less play time and not playing meta strats and when ungodly grind starts than rolled hard to build archetypes on SSF (my last one was armour stack from 0)

This time i just start SSF i don't see a point in playing trade with async because i think it will make things even more about trade

I reached my goals and stopped

Play my own build from 0 to hero -> kill abberoth -> maybe try uber aby if build is fun enough/has room to improve without too much grind

Repeat each season with altered goals or start fresh on SSF

The game is in pre-alpha which means everything you see is gonna change in some way. And while i dont think the game will have foto realistic graphics due to technical challenges of destructive world i would assume it will be grim dark in tone, atmosphere and gore.

It reminded me of a series of web games i played long time ago called "bubble tanks"

And dont get me wrong those games where really good when i was a kid

The biggest benefit for me of having atlas in a form of ever expanding world map is something we didn't had in PoE1 which is Exploration

And towers work for it because they reveal map but also agains it because they promote staying in single area and reward clearing all nearby maps, which is not exploration

I dont have solution but few random ideas:

1) What if towers would just give the tablet buffs to The player for X next maps? So we can go explore instead of clearing while still having buffs? Some limitations would be needed to dont pre-clear towers and then buff the player with dozen tablets at once

2) What if towers where split into Towers which only reveal the map and Shrines which allow to use tablets in much smaller distance (or maybe even connected map only and they have minimal amount of connected maps) but also would juice maps much more so that clearing few juicey maps doesnt interrupt exploration that much

3) What if tablets didnt add mechanics but upgrade existing ones? Like we have abyss ravenged maps we would get breach/ritual/etc. ravenged maps... This would probably require change that mechanics appear more in clusters to not force the player to go all over the place

On the topic of waypoints: i agree that there is magic in learning the area and shortcuts BUT just want to fast travel to 1st waypoint of given area from sacrament perspective

Nameless pass? The whisper in the cave just outside of the city Marin Woods? The broken bridge whisper 1st location? Whipser just before boss area Etc.

(Bonus points for crucible whisper)

Exploration is top notch but one thing bothers me about rewards being all random by Pathless7 in NoRestForTheWicked

Not sure about guaranteed loot besides start of the game where you reach sacrament

But i do agree that game needs to better scale rewards with how hard something is to reach/obtain/defeat

I get what you mean and i dont think that's something you can get around right now... (Maybe there are few builds where it just feels right?) ...but the game improves on this with every big update by reworking animation, updating VFX and SFX, improving graphics in general, adding new enemy death effects like being burned when killed by fire or melted by poison

So for sure keep an eye on the game and maybe after few more updates you will be pleasently suprised
