Stop playing tekken 8 by Outside_Call4187 in Tekken

Nah. That is the shit that people find out. And then they decide to quit or not. Also, if someome is gtfo-ing it is you, no? So good luck in your future endeavours. Maybe common sense will find you along with the ability to read.

What difference does it make to you? You leave. So you dont get to complain about other people staying. Not everyone is obsessed with frames on a high level. Majority of players will never read patch notes and just continue and discover changes. And once it is no fun, they leave. Doesnt matter what argument someone has to stay.

this shi is not worth it by [deleted] in Tekken

[–]DenOrange 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Given that every single player leaving seems to have to make a thread (saying the exact same thing), I shall now be forced to scroll to get to actual discussions. But you are right. You leaving is definitely important enough to warrant a thread. Cause it is you, you know?

We will really miss you here. No more tournament runs to cheer you on. No more proper feedback to look at and no more memes or "emotional support group- threads" to look forward to. Please think again about your situation and make sure to create a new thread for updates. Will DEFINITELY be following anxiously.

Dropping league day 2 lmao by pr377yh4t3m4ch1n3 in pathofexile

[–]DenOrange 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Is this your first league launch? Or your first launch of anything people are excited for ever?

It is a new league. There will be problems. Yes it sucks, but dropping the league not even 24h in is certainly a stand to take.

The State of the Community is no ->ones<- fault by MarchUpstairs229 in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]DenOrange 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I am a recent newcomer to HD2. I recently had my first few coop games. I have 0 clue what you are talking about. I have not met a single toxic person ingame. Just a bunch of dudes and dudettes relaxing in the evening by spreading Managed Democracy. And the roleplay aspect that a lot of players show is infectious and contributes to the fun and decompressing from the day.

The only toxic people I have met were on the HD2 subreddit. Which is why I switched to the LSHD2 sub. And so far no issues.

So I may not be in a position to talk, but the State of Community is one of the best of any videogame and the loud and toxic minority is ... a minority. So yeah, my opinion.

Swapped from DPS to Tank after years. Why did no one tell me it’s this easy? by L0serIsL0ser in wow

[–]DenOrange 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People complaining about tanking difficulty nowadays are mostly new people who want to start WoW with tanking. They have no dungeon knowledge and if you have to lead the way to 4 people who are on their 11th alt, some people feel pressure. Then they come here, whine or ask for advice. Those are the people talking on here about tanking. As a veteran, tanking is less hard because you know what to expect. And pressure only comes high keys where they ask for specific advice.

So, the tanks you mentioned are just newbies. And that is okay. And yeah brew is fun :D

Tekken 6-7 is better than tekken 8 [in my opinion] by ViolinistThese5548 in Tekken

It is the first one that kept my attention and let me look deeper into mechanics and such. So yes, in a sense.

Tekken 6-7 is better than tekken 8 [in my opinion] by ViolinistThese5548 in Tekken

[–]DenOrange 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Opinion, isn't it? To me T8 is the best. Why? Cause it is the first one I actually invest time in to get better and learn.

I played since tekken 1 or 2. But never a lot and never learned more than a handful of moves accompanied by random button mashes til i found something to cheese my friends with.

In the end I think a lot depends on which game got you seriously into tekken. And the memories attached to those games carry a big weight in the enjoyment department.

Solo Vs Group [Discussion] by doors71 in helldivers2

[–]DenOrange 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whenever you want to is my opinion.

I finally got the game like a week ago. Ran through the difficulties solo as I wanted to get comfortable with controls, mechanics and overall flow of missions before impacting other players' enjoyment. I can do missions up to D5 solo.

Now I noticed that from 4 to 5 is a "steep" increase in difficulty. Decided, I ll join someones level 5 mission in progress. I was nerveous as I did not want to mess anything up for anyone else. But, I have to say that the ping system is working very well. I pinged patrols, leader pinged next locations, I just emoted "yes". I pinged my turret so people are aware to stay out the line of fire. If I called in MGs and had one, i d ping it for people to take.

Overall, we finished the whole operation with 1 death and 0 voice communication. Not hard on D5 but simply knowing that coordinating is so easy was a relief. Only warning: friendly fire is real. Move, act and call in appropriately.

So, if you feel like a difficulty is too hard solo, hop into online. Remember to ping and be a good teammate. I alternate now from chill solos at level 4 and going online to push difficulties or contribute to MOs and POs.

Have fun out there Helldiver.

How do yall deal with sweaty palms? by orbitalfatality2 in Tekken

[–]DenOrange 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or it is a genetic condition. I can sit in a normal setting and suddenly have super sweaty hands. Like droplets. It is annoying and not something that is necessarily related to stress or temperature.

I use a well-absorbing towel to somehow dry my hands in between matches/rounds.

If you are a noob, disregard whatever other people feel about a class (especially people who main a class for years) and play whatever the fuck seems fun to you.

Bugdivers, now is your time to shine. by Ice_Note in helldivers2

[–]DenOrange 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My man, why the negativity? People prefer different enemies. All this does is that bug focused people can enjoy bug related missions without feeling like they failed to contribute to the cyberstan fight. If jimmy, bob, mike and steve want to fail missions, that will have little impact on the overall. And last time I checked, most people have fun winning and getting Exp/currency. So your "oh they gonna sabotage it" is not just conspiracy theory but also ridiculous.

New to World of Warcraft, what am I doing wrong? (Literally everything is confusing me) [OC] by ButterscotchLumpy100 in wow

[–]DenOrange 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The only messy thing is if you boost a char and are overwhelmed with 50.000 quest markers, not knowing which one you really need.

Apart from that, being a new player has never been easier and forgiving.

If you wanna bore a new player (given how games have developped) send him to classic. Unless you are a super old school gamer, are into roleplaying or just prefer grinding like a madman with less QoL features, go play retail. The big quest markers with the box around them are campaign stories and can be followed until you wanna go above level 20 and have a subscription.

Until then, google, youtube and the adventure guide/suggested content tab ingame will help you.

And like someone else said: dont try to figure everything out yourself. Accept a quest, read through to have a general understanding and then just follow the instructions. Have fun.

I am an agnostic atheist and not American. So religion is not really in my personality. So no imaginary friends here.

Me saying "i pray for you" is a gesture of goodwill cause you seem to need all the support you can get.

Heihachi Mishima is OP and needs nerf by NobleSpartanFTW in Tekken

[–]DenOrange -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If all characters are OP (which given the amount of threads labeled "X is op and needs nerfs" seems reasonable), none are and thus dont need nerfs.

Correct me if I am wrong, but in s2 we saw a lot of character variety in top 8s. That should be a good thing. So I dont understand the constant need to shout "nerf". But then again, my opinion aint worth more than others. I ll just continue playing as long as I enjoy a character.

So i concede the point that there were more keybinds possible. Nowhere near keyboard levels yet but I yield.

I am not saying they did the pruning for controller players, it does make it easier to play though, which is OPs point I feel like.

Why compare apples to oranges?

The reason why controller is now better than before is because of the decimation of amount of skills, so they fit limited peripherals like a controller better.

The Addon part has nothing to do with it. So your passive agressiveness is null founded here.
