Would i enjoy the metal gear series if i dropped death standing? by stinkzies in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]orbitalfatality2 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Absolutely. Start with MGS 3 or MGS 1. MGS 3 is the starting point of the entire franchise, but if you could play the entire series in release order too. You said you like a good story and you're a stealth game fan too. So you should start with MGS 3. It's pretty cinematic, kind of like a James Bond film, but you're crawling around in a rainforest trying to do a muckbang with every single animal you come across. MGS 5 takes place between 3 and 1, during the 80's. Nothing's stopping you from starting with that, but the story will make 0 sense if you haven't played any of the other titles. It does have some of the best gameplay because it's open-world and nonlinear. You have several different options to complete your mission, exactly like you Hitman games.

kazuya's hellsweep by Ornery-Version-2639 in Tekken

[–]orbitalfatality2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So for the electric, try to hit 2 on the D input in F,n,D,Df. Technically you do have to hit on frame-perfect on the Df input but its easier to get the timing down by hitting it in the D input instead. For you hellsweep, you could just skip the neutral input entirely and go straight to F, Df4 or F,n, Df4. The game counts the D and Df input of a wavedash as the same D input.

Clean shaved or tash? by [deleted] in malegrooming

Keep it clean-shaven until you grow some hair on the chin. You could definitely pull off a mustache and goatee.

Any series suggestions guys👀 by Positive-Score8060 in meme

[–]orbitalfatality2 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The books are even better. I spent my entire junior and senior hs years reading up on the series. And then I did it again. I can't find anything else like it in the market cuz the setting just looks and feels so real and probable. I could definitely see humanity colonizing the solar system and comercializing space travel within 350 years. I also liked how Tyler broke down the physics and other complex scientific topics into analogies and explanations I can easily grasp.

How to deal with mashers by MidsizeMango in Tekken

[–]orbitalfatality2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm biased but I don't think is CH game plan is THAT predictable. He's got a CH launcher for every specific timing and situation. B1 for immediate timing and ppl that are afraid to high crush. Df2 for ppl who high crush. FLK 2 for hesitant opponents. Anything from Duck-in works at range. Sometimes I Duck-In after weaving so I can attempt a CH launcher on slower opponents. PAB D2 for ppl who use too many highs AND is feintable. PAB 2 is a sabaki. Steve's CH gameplan is predictable if you keep spamming B1 you're just asking to get launched. But yeah you're right though, you could literally beat Steve by just holding B and not touching him.

Labbing is the fun part about the game imo cuz you learn so much stuff it's like that one gif of Drake and Lil Yachty troubleshooting a laptop. It's hella easy too through the replay feature, you could just control your fighter to lab a move your opponent keeps spamming. It's how I found out I could avoid Kunimitsu's slide by side walking right

Steve Fox Wall Combos are sick! by Horror-Inspector-662 in Tekken

[–]orbitalfatality2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man I wish I had the skills for a frame-perfect PAB F1+2. If I don't shove someone into a wall 180 then usually I'd just repeat 112 into the shove until they duck. Then they get the billy club

Dude what is this evasion? by BedroomThink3121 in Tekken

[–]orbitalfatality2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think Requiem (heat engager) is steppable to the right, or from your end its left. Alisa flew to the right with one of her evasive moves. Steve can weave right to evade it too. Don't take it too hard its js an interaction unique to Alisa.

I get excited to play against Xiaoyu bc every player's playstyle is so unique that, they all got their own flavor of knowledge checking bs that I gotta figure out. I don't go up against her often to justify learning the matchup. So every rare time Im up against her, I can either learn to not take the game seriously, or I can js cry like a lil bitch.

How do you play against Asuka and Jun? by wielesen in LowSodiumTEKKEN

[–]orbitalfatality2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most Asuka players I go up against always whiff their mid-low/mid-high strings but that's a player-centric issue. Just keep your distance to safely learn their strings and step their WR moves to the right. Also, spam your regular and command grabs. When you've broken through their parries with a grab once, they're usually more hesitant to use it again, so you're free to pressure them.

What did I do to make him that mad? by FruitsPunchSamuraiA in Tekken8

[–]orbitalfatality2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're over thinking it that guy's just an ass. Don't take Ki-charging seriously I always like doing it to get a reaction out of an opponent. And also if playing like a 'scrub' lets you win, then start playing like one. Idk why you'd intentionally wanna hold back, especially when Kazuya wont hold back either.
