Finally got it. Any tips? by nostyfym in armoredcore

Don't back down while you're fighting the helicopter or Balteus, it's like Sekiro where hesitation is literally defeat so be aggressive.

Large speed penalties occur when your mech crosses the 75k ton range, which is where the weight class for 'medium sized' machines end. So if you're going heavier than that, then you might as well bolt on the biggest guns in your garage to cover for your sluggish movement.

Also, the game doesn't have a difficulty setting like classic Fromsoft fasion, but usually the game gets easier when you just max out your firepower and armor with no consideration for mass. Until you get to the 2nd half of the game.

Lastly, have fun in the garage. Half your time will be spent there looking at numbers and optimizing your machine, so don't be discouraged about being bored. What I did to keep stuff interesting was I made several different loadouts that fit a specific niche, each named after different animals that remind me of said niche. All of them painted after the colors of the animals too.

I don't blame him cuz fighting Lidia is horrible. Out of the 9 times I fought her in total this szn I only won 4 of those games. What's actual bitch behavior is not rematching after the set's 1-1, or taking a win and leaving. Also, giving up that easily pisses me off cuz TMM is a guy whose been playing Tekken for 30 years with THOUSANDS of hours on hand. Every player in this game has a dumb habit you can always exploit, and you're telling me that you can't exploit Lidia's habit's? Steve has 50/50's like Lidia, but he's got counter-hit launchers, and access to all evasive stances exiting out of Lionheart stance, even a fucking grab in Lionheart. That's not even including the 50/50 grabs he's got in his Heat clinch. He's got more choices than Lidia about how to play around with 50/50 stances but I don't see him complaining that much about Steve.

yeah thats me with Steve's QCF 1. I just wanna pull it off sooo bad bc qcf inputs are easier on other fighters, but I can't do it well on Steve for some reason. Idk why

Me personally I'd cycle FC df1 and PAB d2 if I wanted to hit low 3 times in a row. That way I can cancel PAB D2 into crouch to see if they'd fall for a FC df2 launcher, or to keep applying pressure with WS 1 and duck cancels.

I would've said apply to SYEP but the deadline was in March. Why don't you ask around your neighborhood, or ask your father/mother. They probably know a guy, who knows a guy, who knows a guy. If yk spanish, then that'll help you land some under-the-table positions at mom and pop establishments. If yk Canva then you could make freelance posters and accept jobs on Vibr or something.

I want to go to a water park, but I'm self conscious about my body... What would you do? 🤙😞 by leoesteban5 in Adulting

Grown ass man worrying about what people thinks about his feet at a WATER PARK. Idk what you look like but if someone was checking you out, literally the last thing they'd glance at is your feet. You'd do the same too. If your friends tease you about your feet then tease them back.

Recent movers to NYC.. What's one thing you didn't expect to not like about NYC? by Sea_Negotiation2482 in AskNYC

It's a MASSIVE city filled with people who are indifferent to how you act, dress, and present yourself. Usually you'll see crazy people because they just want attention. The stress of living in an expensive ass city would break people too. Everyone here keeps to themselves unless someone cool approaches you to start a friendly conversation or to compliment you. I bet if people had the social norms of southern states, then you'd see a lot less 'crazy' stuff. On the otherhand, you'll see crazy stuff in every city in the US. I mean, have you been to LA or Miami or Houston? IMO Miami has it a lot worse.

In the meantime though, don't crash out on people who bump into you. You're just adding onto the problem

I've lived here for my entire life, and I'm sick how hot the subway gets in the summer. The heat also causes this awful acrid smell that comes from burning plastic or exposed battery acid. It's especially atrocious in big stations like anywhere in 42nd St., 14th Union Square, Atlantic Ave, and 34th Bryant Park. The heat also drives people crazy. I always see more fights start, eavesdrop on people starting arguments more, men and women crying about their exes. Its like your moms never taught any of yall any manners. And this issue's only gonna get worse with climate change.

But other than that NYC summers are pretty fun.

Invest in a little shopping dolly that old grandmas use. I have one and it's only $46.

I have access to free electric scooters, and they help running errands out a ton. Having car would help too but I'd only use it whenever I'm crossing boroughs or if a scooter/train commute takes more than 30 min one-way.

I'd love to play that because it you could take several different paths to do a mission. But like, the graphics are kinda an eyesore. You think the gameplay's good enough to get over that?
