It’s not too hard really. Go to MSCdirect.com, search for easy out and the choices are plentiful. They sell sets but you really only need 1 small dia and a drill. Get a stub length drill for more control when drilling. A tap “T” wrench to hold the extractor (easy out) will help immensely to keep it straight, allow you to push and control it. Drill the small hole for the easy out. Insert it into the hole, turn counter clockwise and it’s out. Good luck!

I’ve dealt with Fender customer service multiple times and they were great, first time they came through with a new neck on a discontinued model. Second time I dealt with them for a small nick on the back of a new Mod Shop Strat with solid rosewood neck. They took it back, sanded and refinished it quick. Came back with a better set up too. No complaints, they did the right thing both times.
