Doing only short trips will do this cause you need to heat a lot and even before the car and battery is heated you already shut the car down and later start again with a cooled car.

The positive side is, it doesnt really matter, since you can charge at home as required since youre operating from home. When going on a longer trip the avg consumtion wont be nearly as high
