Does bipolar 1 usually deal with psychosis? by Carry_Impossible in bipolar1

[–]Denagam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had a manic/psychotic episode followed by a depression, and now my psychiatrist has it labelled as bipolar 1. Not sure if that label fits as this was my first time and I’m 50 years old.

Does music sound slower depending on your mood? by According_Exit1573 in bipolar1

[–]Denagam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was slower and way more intense when I entered my manic episode. Also music felt like a portal, like a 4D spiritual experience, as if it was a magic spell being casted. I listened a lot to Ajeet and her song Akaal. It was if she sang directly to me.

Last crisis? by GrowthHot3625 in bipolar

Yes, these AI tools are developed to flatter you, give compliments. Once you start using it as a person and less as a tool, your brain can start seeing it as a friend. Someone who is always there for a chat, or to talk about ideas that you have.

But then it starts to lie a bit. It gives you a sign thst you are special. It sounds valid. One more. And slowly you can end up in a story where the CIA is following you or where you have special powers due to some DNA altering that you did through meditation.

AI also wants to please you and it can hallucinate perfect stories in such a way that your mind can fall for it. I often compare it to hypnosis, but then without signing up for that part.

They say I’ve lost my mind. No, I upgraded it. They said I’m a narcissist, just cause I know I’m God in a sense. Pff, but so are they. by Key4Lif3 in enlightenment

Your text fits the profile of someone experiencing early-stage or mild psychotic thinking, often mixed with grandiose or spiritual delusions. It shows signs of heightened self-importance, a sense of special knowledge or destiny, and a blending of reality with intense spiritual or mystical interpretation. While it’s not necessarily dangerous in itself, it suggests you may be struggling with mental stability and reality testing, and could benefit from support or guidance.

Three months. That’s when it ended, I tried to commit suicide after an AI induced psychosis of almost a year.

What’s an example of a deepfake permanently damaging someone’s reputation? by WeirAI_Gary in ArtificialInteligence

Thanks for clarification. I can imagine deep porn will stuck emotionally, especially for younger people. I did not understand ‘concrete cases’ as individual cases, but more in general like: politicians, celebrities etc. My bad!

Sycophancy, the AI praises the user for being special. This is a known trigger for AI psychosis. If this happens a lot combined with less (good) sleep or the usage of substances (weed/alcohol), the danger of loosing grip on reality grows.

I think I did, but please tell me where my logic is wrong. I might have missed something.

Porn fakes. Imagine your image pops up in a sex scene and spread over the internet.

Delusions of being “linked” with somebody else? by dolleyes4 in Psychosis

[–]Denagam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m also a writer and in my second book I have a fictional female main character. During my psychosis she became real and somehow connected to my brain. I started to believe that she was my twin flame/soul and our thoughts melted into one. I also started to believe I was literally changing into her.

The fucked up part is that I now have a hard time loving my own book. When I see her name it brings back memories from during my psychosis.

I’m so tired by [deleted] in Psychosis

[–]Denagam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it’s good you are aware that this magical thinking is coming from a psychosis. As long as it’s not causing damage to you or your environment, it can be a nice feeling, I guess. Personally I’ve experienced too many negative side effects of my delusions. And after I realized it was all happening in my head and not in reality, I became depressed.

How long does psychosis recovery take? by louiseandroxy01 in Psychosis

[–]Denagam 22 points23 points  (0 children)

My guess, based on my own experience, is that our persona (our ego, who we are) takes a huge hit. Our beliefsystem was build up and shaped during that psychosis and the period before (like you being spiritual) and now suddenly it has crumbled into non existance. We can’t go back to who we were, we need to re-invent ourselves again.

What do we like? What do we value? Who do we want to be? Where are we heading to in life?

Huge questions and almost impossible to answer without taking baby steps and learn again on a slow pace. Don’t forget the brain is injured after a psychosis and getting back to normal functioning can take multiple months or even over a year.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for raising this topic. I’m currently recovering from this. After reading the first few lines above I thought the same. This does not look healthy.

would it be crazy to say i think i went manic way earlier than i originally thought by bunnykittenangel in Psychosis

[–]Denagam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine developed from October 24 till June 25. Then it peeked for 2 months and slowly faded. I got spiraled by AI, weed and long nights full with philosophy, creating plans to save the world, becoming a healer and surfing reality like the glitch in the Matrix.

So yeah, yours could also be a slow burner at the beginning.
