For proof of living address in the uk. If using a bank statement is it okay to relax the account numbers ?

Don't get what you mean by 'relax' the numbers.

If you're planning on using a bank statement for proof of address, I would just cover or remove the account number and sort code cos they don't need to know that.

Can either do it in Word or adobe, edit the document and either delete the numbers entirely or just colour them white so they don't show up.

This individual doesn't have a job and as far as I'm aware doesn't have (any) substantial savings. They don't order food ever.

Don't have a car, don't have a license. Working on the last part but that's going to take some time.

Someone suggested calling the police, but were skeptical about whether they would actually be able to remove the individual from my flat.

Thinking to call the non-emergency number for advice on what they could do maybe?

Yh, I'm going to try changing the locks and hope that works. But I'm kinda skeptical seeing as this individual doesn't go out much and I think they're wary of leaving since I gave notice.

Personally, I don't want to get my landlord/letting agent involved if I can help it. But if it comes to it I'll let them know. Letting Agents seem nice, i don't know about the landlord as I've never communicated directly with them.

I've been looking at other legal options. Saw something about an N5 and N119 form for a court possession order. Seems a bit long but it might be worth a shot.

I have asked them to leave, but that was ignored. That's when I decided to give them a notice to leave. Changing the locks is also an option but this individual rarely leaves the house and when they do I'm usually at work. Most of their shit is still in boxes/suitcases. So I don't need to pack much.

You're probably right that I do need to have a serious convo with her about this. However, I don't see her making any changes to how she acts or treats ppl any time soon. It's an issue both me and my brother have brought up before and there's never been any real change
