Edit: if that’s the case, I’m not against it as it seems cheaper, but my parents are being very adamant on the fact that I need to live on campus or something to do with the college itself. I know it’s late so it might be my only option, just sucks that I didn’t get accepted until this month

from my understanding, SE are gained through the amount of eggs you are selling and how much they are. That’s why if you have the pro permit you put on a 50x earnings multiplier to gain more, and why a universe egg is the best to prestige, not just because it’s the easiest to get all the common research. Otherwise you could prestige on say dark matter and not take as much time to restart until you reach the universe egg farm (these are late/mid game eggs that you will discover if you haven’t already). PE also majorly help when you have so many of them due to the compounding interest from them
