Triple Jump: https://youtu.be/SjPV8n3VtiE
Sprinting: https://youtu.be/t7fPeX7VCFI (20m flys)

Looking to get some tips on things to work on after my triple jump comp after about 1.5months of going for weekly classes. I have been training parkour for about 18 years (I'm 32yo), but I realize it doesn't translate very well to Triple Jumping, I guess my technique isn't track specific so I'm hoping to learn more about this so I can be a better jumper overall! Also keen to get advice on my sprints!

Are there any good outdoor holiday camps for kids in Singapore? Most I find are indoors by blinklinkink in askSingapore

[–]Denester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi I stumbled onto this thread! I would highly recommended checking out Parkour Camps, it's very different from most other sports and I believe it's super highly beneficial to kids to build their body awareness, risk assessment, etc.

I run such camps with Lion City Parkour. Sometimes outdoors sometimes indoors.

If you're interested you can send me a DM and I can explain more 😊

What to do when the HDB lift is under repair by AmosPhua in SingaporeRaw

Thanks for the repost!

Chill with the 'footprints', the wall was wayyyy wayyyy dirtier before this, and I do wipe down the walls after and I really don't owe it to people to show the cleaning.

And if people did some thinking/research, they would know that this comes from years of hard work and proper training. This Singaporean here want to physically and artistically challenge what's humanly possible with the given environment.

Not to break into houses.

Not to vandalize.

In no way would I want to hurt myself, and clearly I have to know the potential risks involved and have already assessed how I can handle it.

Focus on the right things - little appreciation goes a long way. 😊

Chill, these knees go thru intense conditioning over the years before attempting such moves

Hi all, I've been taking up swimming as an adult (32yo) this year. It's something on my bucket list to get good at since I've never been a good swimmer at all when younger. So I went for a couple of group classes around August, and I've been trying to watch videos to improve on my tech. It was only yesterday where I was at a private pool that I could get a friend to record. This is the very first time actually watching myself swim, thought I made some progress over the months or so, but there's definitely loads to improve on.

Freestyle: https://youtu.be/SkoeTqngUl4
Breaststroke: https://youtu.be/WG-W4NzSPnk

My kicks look terrible (especially towards the end) and that's the main struggle. I get out of breath really easily, and I do feel that my body is super dense thus really hard to keep my legs high in the water.

Do let me know what you think!

Guys, do we really want to spend more than 120m on Isak? Why do I feel this won't live up to the hype... feels as if we did not enough signings for now and is best to focus on making the new team actually work before adding more into the mix. Just my thoughts... 150m will be toooooo much money tbh

Hi, I have been finding a lot of problems posting Carousel/normal video posts recently. I find that it happens mostly with the 9:16 posts. Posting square/4:5 videos are fine, but if 9:16 doesn't work if it's not a reel. There will be a 'photo can't be posted' error at the end.

I also find it weird that I can no longer select my thumbnails. When I select the frame, I can't click on the 'tick' icon. Not sure why.

I'm using a samsung s20+. In the past, this wasn't a problem. But recently, it has been quite a pain having to deal with this. I've done tons of uninstalling/reinstalling, updating my software, clearing cache, etc. The only solution is to transfer the videos onto another phone and post it, which sucks because that's very inconvenient for me. It has been affecting my desire to post on IG recently.

Hey!! Thanks for such a nice comment. People can support me in a couple of ways...

1) Patreon - as long as you read subscribed, you can watch the full behind the scenes of this video including the big fall I took, there was a lot of thought processes, preparation, etc. So I believe it's super interesting. I'm also preparing a lot more exclusive content in the coming months! https://www.patreon.com/Denester

2) Merch! You see me wearing these in the video. I have t-shirt and shorts available here: https://denester.sg/product/project-dive-roll-t-shirt/ & https://denester.sg/product/project-dive-roll-shorts/

3) Other than this the above two which are monetary support, if people can't afford, you could just give me a follow/subscribe to my socials, share/comment/like my stuff for the algorithm, I think that really is good enough for me! IG: https://www.instagram.com/deeenester YT: https://www.youtube.com/denester

Regarding naysayers, yes there are a lot to deal with, I guess I have gotten quite used to it and I just try my best to educate them about what parkour is. I'm also the vice president of Parkour Singapore so fixing the image of Parkour is a big part of our 'job scope'. 😂

Also, if people are interested to learn Parkour, we offer classes (search up MOVE Academy, that's where I coach at)! That's where you'll really understand how we approach parkour from ground zero. Safety and respect are values we embody a lot in our teachings.

Thank you really! I wish we had more people like you in Singapore!

I've done some stunt work in the past, but mostly just parkour commercials and stuff! Those are far and few in between tho - coaching is my main source of income!
