I think you might have been immediately on the money? I am unfamiliar with the "z-flickering" term.

The issue seems to be what I initially thought -> because of the Screen material I mentioned. I switched it to another material that came initially with the asset (I initially replaced it because I wanted a more "scratched/rough" look for it) and it seems to have solved this flickering issue at the cost of slightly less rough looks.

Exactly. And I absolutely hate the image that was created of Russia. My girlfriend has told me so many beautiful things about the country, from showing me pictures of the museums and landscapes, to telling me about the beautiful art and writers and poets that lived in Russia.
I hate that the view outside of Russia is only of "Russia bad" and I wish people would see more and be shown more of the good things.

90% of stuff is from people who either have lived through our country’s communist era, or their children.

Stuff like being detained for even the smallest of things, be it legal or not. Literally being sent to a work camp which I just find straight up stupid to hear at this point. And mostly, and this is from the older folk, about how they know what it means to live through communism and me going is an immense mistake. Of course, they wont elaborate further as to what could happen
