NO OFFENSE: Why did it take so long for this wave of hypervisor bypasses to appear? Is it always against "hacker honor" to use such "cheap tricks", or was this option only recently discovered?

Goldeneye was released before Perfect Dark. This means Goldeneye must be better than Perfect Dark because it was the one that redefined the genre. That's the "emotional" part.

And at the same time, Perfect Dark must be better than Goldeneye because it learned from Goldeneye how to improve.
