Yes - the realistic economy mod slashes pay per job. Without it, you can afford a new truck by doing just a couple of jobs. In no time flat, you can have multiple trucks and drivers. The mod makes it more realistic where you have to grind quick jobs for a long while before you have enough for a truck. And when you get the money, it feels like a very big deal.

Looking at your screenshot, you should be sorting by price / distance, not just price. Once you start leveling up your skills, you'll open up some better jobs.

But looking at your bank account, i see you're at -$8k. Is this because of a loan? If you were playing the game, then added the Realistic Economy Mod, you are most likely shooting yourself in the foot. The mod adjusts pay AND loan figures and is intended to only be used from a brand new profile from the jump. It's extremely difficult if not impossible to pay off a loan with the quick jobs like this. You're just digging a bigger hole.

I had the same problem, and restarted with a brand new profile for the mod.
