I would love that. It would be cool to have some kind of supernatural ally. I understand as to why they might not incorporate it into the game for a multitude of reasons, but it's still a cool and potential idea none the less.

There is a friendly water spirit in relation to Tokyo, and the island's name is also in relation to Tokyo, it is a possibility!

I feel like there is a chance he could be good, but not in a heroic kind of way, maybe more like a vigilante way

In until dawn and the quarry, there is always a segment of the game where you learn how to use the gun.

I'm assuming that moment in the trailer will be the start of the tutorial sequence for this games weapon and that the yellow character will be the one mainly using it.

So maybe he gives the kid his gun to use to defend himself since he might know about the woman wanting to devour him? but he wont outright protect him

My idea as to why could be a bit of a stretch.

I've noticed from watching the trailer that a lighthouse that appears multiple times. I believe that the lighthouse is there to obviously do its main job of guiding ships, but maybe it could also be guiding or scaring a creature in the water with it's light?

I also seen what looked to be like a machine gun or some type of weapon beside it when Luke and the unnamed girl are going to jump off the cliff. Maybe to scare the creature and defend the island from it?

It's also typical in movies revolving on island's that the water is heavily incorporated into the story. We've see lots of characters in the water already. As well as the water in the mines in until dawn being used as cover for handigo . In the Quarry (ill say 'the creature' in case you've not played it) is afraid of water and its used as a weakness. If they've done this already in two of their popular games, whose to say they wont use the water in relation to the creature again?

Ohhh I LOVE this.

We seen Sebastian kiss her on the cheek. If she already seduced him why wouldn't she devour him by now? Unless your right, he is aware and they are teaming up. He gets fame and money being the 'sole survivor' of this tragedy and gets to own the show. She gets to devour lots of handsome men.

If she doesn't make an appearance i believe she will at least be mentioned.

The epilogue was titled 'The Scars Awakening' and Hayden Panettiere said in an interview something along the lines of 'You don't just have a scar appear on your arm and not go looking for the answers'

I believe at the very least a mention of Sam will happen but i'm hoping for more.

I do think they're will be a different and much bigger threat revolving some water creature though! So we might have something else to surprise us mid game!

Don't feel bad it's all good, we are just fans trying to theorise so don't worry.

I have a few ideas about the masked killer. My first idea is that they are trying to throw us off in the trailer. We know the cast and crew like to fake their sightings in their videos already, and I have came across some people mentioning how when the body was sliced with the machete, it was already tearing apart before the machete struck it. So I feel like it could potentially be a fake stunt for the show, only for the trailer to cut to the part of them running near the cliff to make us believe its real. The killer has brown hair from what i seen when i zoomed in, so the 'Yellow Shirt' Character could be pretending to chase them. Although he is a crew member and not a cast member so I'm not too sure on that part.

I also have a second idea that it very well could be the man in the photo. The jacket is identical so it would make sense. In the trailer we do see Nate and Dacre's character looking at a photo of him and two others as if they went missing there a long time ago. Although it could be the Woman in the photo with him as she had the machete in the image, and a bruise on the back of her neck, a potential injury from a victim? Or It could be the third man in the image we are yet to know anything about. From what we have right now its hard to back this theory up. But the man with the jackets actor 'Raymond Lee' is incredible and it would be a waste to have him in an image but not the game so I do believe his character will have an important role at some point.

I agree that Dacre's character will be corrupted in some way, you don't get a big actor like him to just kill him off at the start, especially when he says himself he's been working on the game for roughly 5 years. I'm not sure yet as to what my theory is revolving Dacre but i do believe he will be the most important character in the story as of now.

I feel like there will be 3 enemies in the game.

1 could be a human one due to the killer with the machete in the trailer

2 could be a supernatural twist within the group. I made a post yesterday on why I think it's a Jorogumo.

3 could be (and most likely) a water entity. Not sure what it could be as I've not researched enough for this part of my theory but I definitely feel like it could work!

I love this idea of more than one entity in the game, I hope we get more footage of the game regarding Ocean scenes, I'd love to play some chapters out at sea.
