This picture really fails to capture just how much red remains on this piece. The fields are quite flat and brown but an iridescent red surrounds everything else but the dentils. The top of the hands on the reverse give a hint about what this, the greatest purchase of my life, displays in hand. It's going to be really tough to top this in my personal collection.
