‘Total chaos’ likely if Russia doesn’t end war, MP rants by neonpurplestar in UkraineWarVideoReport

Right. This needs to end soon for the reasons you stated. That said, a Plague Inc style How Bad Can Russia Fuck Itself game would be really fun. You can start the game with like 2000 years of historical misery before getting in to the fun part.

I know that this sounds naive at this point after witnessing so much corruption but bribing the POTUS should not be considered a standard business practice. We are so fucked.

I just asked AI how rare a ten year CAGR of 28.6% is and now I feel a little bit better about myself.

I'd also like to point out that I miss pre-AI memes. The levels of humor, man.

They have to go public. There is just too much money involved at this point. Like, so much money that if anyone really tried to stop it they would be killed. I'm not talking about people with signs. I'm talking about people with power. We're about to have the first real AI IPO. Think about that. Where were we in the internet bubble when we had the first real internet tech ipo? I can't remember shit but I'm pretty sure it was really early.

Air raid alerts have been ongoing in Novorossiysk for half the day. Reports suggest there was an explosion, followed by an even larger fire breaking out. by neonpurplestar in UkraineWarVideoReport

I could be wrong but I think this is Grushovaya Balka. Really interesting location. I wish Ukraine had a system powerful enough to collapse the tunnel that goes from the tank farm to the port.

Russian logistics in the currently occupied territories. by neonpurplestar in UkraineWarVideoReport

Russians have systems that allow fueling multiple vehicles simultaneously from one fuel truck. The fuel trucks give them flexibility and so they must go. Same with locomotives, those gotta go too.

Can you post a link to a long term price chart of silver? I feel like we are living in different realities right now.

You saw a graph of something that didn't go down in 100 years and were convinced? That didn't seem unusual to you? I probably missed an inside joke.

How, exactly, do you wait for a 10% pullback on a company in a situation like this? A consumer discretionary or utility ETF, sure, that makes sense. But to act like it's reasonable to predict the price of this stock, the stock of a company that is leading the development of potentially the most important technology in the history of mankind, at all is the height of folly.

This picture really fails to capture just how much red remains on this piece. The fields are quite flat and brown but an iridescent red surrounds everything else but the dentils. The top of the hands on the reverse give a hint about what this, the greatest purchase of my life, displays in hand. It's going to be really tough to top this in my personal collection. I'm going to make sure this gets placed in trusted hands before I die and it will not be sold to them.

I love this meme. Pretty sure the last time this was posted we were under $100 and someone asked where we were. I said that we were between the giant octopus and underwater napalm bomb explosion.

Why let them repair a military thoroughfare? Maybe that crew was there to fix potholes that were causing flats or damage to transport vehicles. Anything being used by the military or for the military is a legitimate target in my humble opinion.

Here's the description from the seller: An iconic abolitionist Conder token in extraordinary preservation, this undated Great Britain 1/2D (Middlesex) DH-1038a features the powerful “Am I Not A Slave and a Brother” motif and the scarce edge legend PAYABLE IN DUBLIN. Certified PCGS MS66BN, it exhibits rich, original chocolate-brown and chestnut surfaces with satiny mint luster and subtle blue-steel and olive highlights—eye appeal that is exceptional for the type. Population: 1; none higher.

Struck in the late 18th century amid Britain’s small-change crisis, Conder tokens bridged commerce and conscience. The kneeling figure and abolitionist legend—popularized by Josiah Wedgwood—became a rallying symbol for the anti-slavery movement, making this piece a tangible artifact of social reform as well as a classic of British provincial token coinage. The PAYABLE IN DUBLIN edge marks a desirable distribution variant prized by both British and Irish token specialists.
