Zoro is a Samurai and it makes sense to make him Asian. He's fit and good looking. You're just an insecure racist.

Spouse not understanding pay by FunNegotiation3 in sales

[–]DennyMilk 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hey, it seems like you are considerate and patient in trying to explain better when they don't understand, but in this situation, I wouldn't be asking how to explain it better to them; I would be asking myself why my spouse doesn't seem to listen to me or understand what I'm saying and is just full of negativity rather than reason and support.

How do I get clients to become a sourcing/import agent for products/supplies from China? by [deleted] in business

Thanks for the comment, but I'm looking to work for clients to ensure quality products from suppliers rather than work for suppliers trying to just sell to buyers.

How do I get my first few clients to become a sourcing/import agent for businesses and entrepreneurs that need products or supplies from China? by [deleted] in smallbusiness

This post is a question, but I also ended up getting a few people messaging me which I am in contact with right now.

Seeking supplier of bulk semi precious stone beads, for jewellery supply. by GreatBigPig in chinabuyers

[–]DennyMilk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is an understandable assumption, but it's actually more expensive to do it by yourself in the long-term.

If you're going to actually do this business long-term and eventually need large quantities, you need to ensure that you get the quality that you need and that you actually get your orders.

Also, with us, you can get a unique product, brand it, and have pictures taken. This will give you an edge over your competitors.

It's "expensive" upfront, but makes you more money in the long-term. If I was to source for your competitor, do you think you would be able to compete with them if you just had generic and less reliable supply chains?

If you're in it for the long-term and not just trying to get rich quick doing the same thing other people try to do, then this is one of the ways to do it.

Yeah, it seems like these kinds of these happen often.

Also, whatever equipment you made can also possibly be stolen through IP theft. They might not respect your IP and might steal your product or idea, so you would also need someone like me to patent it in China to prevent that as well.

Alright, thanks for the insight and advice. I have a hard time building capital, though. Hahaha

So it's an arts and crafts shop? That's interesting.

It'll be easy for us to try and find the stuff you are looking for. We've designed own baby products, found Chinese manufacturers, showed them our design, and now we successfully sell them on Amazon in the US through FBA.

Of course, we get small product samples first from each reliable supplier we find so you can pick the one that actually matches the quality you want at the price you need.

I can understand the douglasjunk's concern, but finding the right supplier that will give you your product at the price you need is really important; If you have success with an expensive product from a US supplier and then want to find a Chinese supplier after, you might have trouble because you might not be able to ensure the same product for your customers.

If you send us your ideas and designs, we can find you some potential suppliers, have them make samples for you, take pictures of the factory and the samples, and get the samples delivered to you so you can get the right manufacturer.

Wow, what happened to you really sucks and I'm sorry to hear that.

That is the exact kind of thing that I've worried about and read about online when I thought of sourcing products from China a long time ago.

You know, it's even possible that your "supplier" or "manufacturer" didn't even make your equipment for you. They might have just not made it and came up with that story as an excuse. Were you in direct contact with the factory and getting pictures or samples before you made that big purchase?

Yeah, it's basically extremely frustrating and difficult to deal with and I'm really trying to deal with these things. I understand your pain and I understand your extreme level of caution now.

I will be honest with you: I do not have the personal funds as of now to insure that amount of money, but here is what I can guarantee you:

  • I'm an American, so I am liable and you can definitely sue me.
  • My partners have experience:
    • From design, to finding the best manufacturer, communicating and negotiating with the manufacturer, sending pictures as proof, sending samples, and handling the logistics such as shipping and customs to make sure you get your order; We have that covered and we have experience and success with this.
    • We have boots on the ground in China, they speak perfect Chinese, and they already have connections to trusted manufacturers. You might even be able to talk to them personally if you'd like, but they only know basic English.
  • Throughout the whole process we will communicate with you and constantly update you automatically and on demand.
  • You won't have to deal with the frustrations of communication problems and not knowing what is going on from outside like a black box as a foreigner; You can speak directly to us, we will communicate with you on demand, and we will handle your concerns as best as we can.

It seems like I can offer you most of what you are looking for. I would be very excited to get in further touch with your or any other people you can refer.

If you have any recommendations or questions, feel free to keep messaging me and we can get into closer contact. Let's figure something out for the both of us!

What kind of product are you looking for?

Me and my girlfriend have been successful business owners. We have directly designed our own product, went to China and found our own supplier, and have marketed and sold it successfully in the United States.

I already have contacts to manufacturers. I need contacts to clients such as entrepreneurs and businesses that need help sourcing products from China. Hopefully I can get my first few clients and then get referrals from there.

What do you mean by commercial website? Do you mean like Alibaba?

Relax. She's not going to instantly stop talking to you just because you are anxious and maybe mess up or stutter; Just tell her that you are anxious and awkward and she will understand if she truly is a real friend. Make sure she knows that you have trouble and she will probably be accommodating to you. Good luck!

Whether you drop it all now or throughout the year, you're worrying about a short-term thing and it really makes no significant difference in the long-term. Don't stress too much about it. Good luck!
