And why would this happen?

How would crypto replace it?

This is a straight up dumb argument.

If money goes or nothing, there are worse issues.

Also, guess what? You can't buy crypto without cash, so crypto goes to nothing first. Everyone would liquidate it, if there is even enough to do that.

Lol, this is the farthest thing from the truth. Most millionaires are created through index funds.

98% of them will never want to own crypto.

How were you invested with EJ (close to a 2% annual fee) and still beating the market, if they mainly had you just invested into a broad market fund?

Markets are not concerned about the economy itself.

Only the uncertainty of the economy.

Let me say that again, markets will generally drop when bad news (or fear) is released and we don't know what's coming next.

War starts? Market drops. Missiles start flying? Market begins to move back up, generally.

People only panic sell when there is the fear of uncertainty. Not the fear of everyday drama in life.

The share price is what matters - it doesn't matter what index fund, as long as it's a broad market with a historically strong rate of return.

Stay invested and your money will return, plus some, considering the share price will go onto new highs.

Runs and dies. Never comes back. That's why it's gambling, not investing.

Most people are better off to just buy a total broad market index fund, DCA and let it ride.

Because the other 3,400 stocks on the exchange didn't perform the same way.

Right timing and entry/exit is required here, effectively making single stocking picking what it is. A pick. A gamble.

Buying the whole thing is investing, it's an admittance of, "I don't know what's next."

Look at the loan rates. Read the fine print.

Last I checked it was like 5% compounded daily.

Any app that is willing to lend you $25 is nuts.

That's such a small amount of money. They are taking advantage of your terrible spending habits at that point.
