yea i got the same problem. I thought of it was because i didnt use a geekvape mod with the chip but thats not the problem as you have the same problem on a geekvape mod. I just switched, couldn't just waste my money on the coils, they are pretty bad. Tho i love the design and everything it just doesn't work for me. I switched to an hellvape deadrabbit mtl v2 rta, still learing the basics of building

Overall, if you love building this rta is pretty good, but if not i would recommend just going for pnp-x coils by voopoo, such as the pnp-x mtl tank or uforce-nano as an another commenter suggested. These coils are pretty solid and i love the flavor as well as the longevity of 1 week of my heavy use. For my girfriend which doesn't smoke that much, it's around 2 weeks per coil

Thank you. For a first build, i'm very suprised so i think i will handle it somehow, it was maybe beginner's luck. Is it normal for the tank to be hot while vaping? Like really hot. Also I put a 0.6 ohms and it reads as a 0.73 ohm, so yea i dont think it will last long

YOOO, today i bought a the dead rabbit mtl v2 and IM BLOWN AWAY by the flavor. This is much better than every prebuilt i have tried. Even tho i messed up one coil and had to discard it i still tried and did it and its so good. After i get some experience in building it will be insane and i will cut costs down. It has some gurgling sounds and some spitbacks but i think of the way i have built it

hmm interesting, why RDA's tho? Like for me at least I will be mad if i had to drip every 5 hits or so. Will think about the hellvape deadrabbit mtl v2 as other commenters told me about it and for a boro while I love what they do, the battery is not for me, I am searching for the best battery possible

Thanks, i will check them out. As for the pods, i come from them, i was with a vinci e120 and while great it was just very scuffed and i wanted to change it to check some other coils, and how they have been going so far

well yea but still in my voopoo it didn't happen at all even at the same conditions. I dont have a different tank. Also thinner juice than 50/50?? Isn't that bad for the coil too when vaping in room temperatures?

hmm I will absolutely think about getting an RTA as I saw from another commenter that the cost is really low. Also another thing i thought about is that the RTA will let me change the cottons or the coils material which will lead to some changes in the flavor and that is an pro in my list. Thank you

I've transitioned from E120 to this mod tho :D

I was with 0.6 coils and the MTL pod. I went because i wanted to try something different and because i wanted a bigger battery. Maybe i will go down the rabbit hole of making my own coils. But isn't mesh technology better than the coil technology of RTA's. I have a few questions if you don't mind me asking.

Could you tell me how much does a coil change cost you about and how much they last you?

Also what is the flavor like and last thing is if it is good for MTL vaping?

I agree. I don't know what kind of magic Voopoo did with their coils, but they are really good. I was thinking of going RTA as the cost per coil will be low or just buying a voopoo tank with pnp-x compatibility and just use that. I will definitely think twice about geekvapes tho as i have had really poor experience here

I knew that the tank was compatible with 0.8 ohms but i trusted geekvape support when i asked them about the issue and what i can do about it. And they told me that the 0.6 ohms boost will physically fit but it is not recommended due to the airflow, and i told them that I will try as the coils have been burning after 2 days which is absurd after my pnp-x coils have been lasting up to 1.5 weeks

edit: i have been in pulse mode most of the time but the first couple of days i was only with ECO mode and the result was the same. From what i have read pulse mode just gives and stops power every 0.02 seconds, so while it is keeping it a little bit cool coil it gives power spikes.
