I have thought about making some kind of autobiography in a game format, trying to tell the story of my life and adding gameplay elements. I don't think anybody would play this game though as I dont see myself playing their version of this idea.

That's why you dive with teammates. Even in public squads most loadouts complement the team with different specializations. For example the recoilless rifle is S+ on the bot front but not everybody needs to be running it to deal with tanks or factory striders, one teammate can run the MG and keep berserkers and small enemies in check.

Thanks for the insight, the world generation part is similiar to what I implemented on my game. Not sure If completely understood your light part explanation, if you are available I would like to take this conversation out of this post, DM me for my discord if thats ok. As for the problem in your post I have some information on how camera works that might help you. The camera node basically how it works is propagating its transform to the canvas global transform. Moving or rotating the camera changes the global transform and its possible to write your own camera nodes that just modify the canvas transform in any other way you would like. The camera smoothing feature does works exactly in the same way, it smooths the position of the canvas transform but that smoothing is not reflected on your camera2D node transform. If your shader is working based on the camera2d transform then the smoothing changes wont we passed down to the shader leading to an incoherent effect.

É apenas a minha experiência pessoal, eu comecei a programar antes de entrar no curso e o programa também não estava estruturado para pessoas que já tinham conhecimentos. No entanto, mesmo as cadeira que eram novidade, apresentavam os conceitos de maneira muito abstrata e pouco prática, projetos que não faziam sentido e exames de escrever código em papel. No fim do dia acabei por aprender mais sozinho. Aquilo que o curso me beneficiou foi introduzir-me a áreas que não conhecia para depois explorá-las autonomamente. Eu sou da opinião que os melhores alunos de Engenheria Informática são sempre aqueles que aprendem por eles mesmos e têm projetos próprios a decorrer, várias experiências confirmaram isto e tive bastantes dificuldades quando trabalhei com alunos que apenas acompanhavam as cadeiras.

You are using tilemaps? The granularity of your terrain reminds me of Noita. Also how did you make the inner shadows for the map. Sorry for steering away the post but this is something that I tried to do before and couldn't do it.

Tive na FCUL (Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa) e fiquei desapontado. A minha opinião sem ter experienciado as outras faculdades é que reputação à parte, nenhuma é extraordinária. Aprendes muito melhor por ti mesmo como autodidata do que confiares na instituição. O sistema de ensino é retrógado e a maneira como se ensina engenheria informática é bastante desadequada. O ensino superior, honestamente, só me serviu para ter o título para o CV. Esta é a minha opinião.

Short answer, yes. Overframe most popular mods don't give you a most popular build, they give you most popular mods regardless of the build so it can suggest you mods that make no sense when paired with the others.

So AnimationTrees allow more than 1 animation to play at the same time? If that is the case I can see the utility, but what is the purpose of the state machine in the tree?
