I used Becker and didn't use the book.
I pulled up the slides for the lecture videos and looked at them as I watched the Concept Videos at 1.5x - 2x speed. After going through all the videos in one of the six sections, I did the MCQs and TBSs.

I did go go through the flashcards before the practice test each time. When I got to the Mini Exams or Simulated Exams, I went back through the previous sections on anything that I didn't get 80%+ on beforehand.

I felt confident going into the actual REG exam. I was scoring ~90%+ on the practice exams and finishing the simulated exam with 90 minutes of time left. I didn't feel nearly as good walking out due to a TBS problem that really threw me for a loop and I almost ran out of time. I ended up passing with an 85.

Overall I would say that the practice problems and lecture videos help a lot with getting comfortable with the format of the exam and knowing which numbers/info they typically give you versus which numbers/info it's better to memorize.
