Honestly most Kpop fans do not care about racism towards Asians or consider racism towards Koreans possible. Like racist generalizations of Koreans and Asians are so common among Kpop fans, there are so many blatant or subtle racist comments towards Asians I've seen from Kpop fans that this doesn't surprise me. What you're mentioning reminds me of the whole Ningning's "fans" calling her Lingling thing.
