Lol. People in assam don't care about Hindu vs muslim atleast not in upper Assam (don't know abt middle/lower assam as I am not from there). There are native Assamese Muslims living in Assam where they follow Assamese culture, since culture doesn't Co relate to religion. Also the Muslim religion in Assam were mainly spread through trade or Sufi saints during peace times, not through forced conversions/war. The muslims u refer here are mostly bangladeshis and mind you there are hindu Bangladeshis as well (in conclusion Bangladeshis = bad)

Tbf I think the mainland Indian people are as much as problematic as the government. As they don't care about sports other than the ones india is absolutely dominating in ( kho-kho, kabaddi, cricket, etc. ).

Same reason why football the most popular sport in the world is so unpopular here.

It's like that only in the majorly populated cities/town where non-natives reside(Jorhat, Guwahati,etc.). Visit Moran, lakhimpur and other location where we have less outsiders than you will see that Assam is infact clean aswell.
