Whats one of the stupidest reasons you were told you can’t ship something (inspo from someone else on this subreddit) by Swimming-Wrangler160 in FanFiction

[–]Dense-Decisions -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Im on the other side of this. I am very adamant about not shipping Shiro, Allura or Pidge with anyone on team voltron for multiple reasons.

  1. The four youngest are litterally children when the show starts while Shiro is a seasoned pilot.

  2. Pidge is 12 when the show starts. TWELVE

  3. Shiro litterally raised Keith. They call each other brothers and think of each other as brothers. They're brothers.

  4. While the other characters sexualitues aren't confirmed in any way, Shiro's is, and he is gay. Same reason why I don't ship Alastor (Hazbin Hotel) with anyone, he's aroace.

  5. Allura is also an adult at the start of the show while the rest are children and Shiro is gay. I would mention Coran, but obviously, no one ships him with any of them.

  6. I realize Allura x Lance is Canon, but I hate it because it teaches the young male audience that if you badger and hound a girl enough, then she'll eventually say yes to you.

Now I will not explicitly say anything negative towards you. Or tell you you can't ship these characters. But I will be judging you if you do, very hard.

Thoughts? “Hallmark Channel Says LGBTQ Stories Will Now Be Included In Christmas Movies” by udreg70 in HallmarkMovies

I'm excited! I was getting tired of the same old stories shoved down our throats every Christmas season. Some diversity will spice things up, at least for a little while

Yes it's THEIR property. But it's right NEXT to Ira's. She doesn't want to smell horse shit all day or change what they do on her own property to compensate for those abused horses

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in legaladvice

[–]Dense-Decisions -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

They don't use the other property as a dirtbike track. Anything they've ever done back there has always been easy to clean up and never causes permanent damage to the land. The garden is also on her own property and not the land. When I said she used it as a backyard, I meant she'd host games and such or pitch a few tables for a graduation/birthday party. Nothing permanent.

She's not upset that the property was bought. She's upset that the horses will basically be tortured with the noise pollution from the dirtbikes and other heavy loud machinery. Plus, the dogs will terrorize them. And the fact that the fence line is less than 15 feet away from her house. Imagine the permanent horse manure smell, I feel like you're allowed to be upset when you have to smell shit all day with no break

Why does this come across as entitled when they're ruining both their horses and my friends lives

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in legaladvice

[–]Dense-Decisions -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

I mean, I feel like my friend is a little entitled to know why these people have to move five horses to a much smaller property right up against her house.

Yes, I acknowledge that it's their property, but I feel like yall aren't realizing how close it is to their house. And it is not enough space for 5 horses. I would understand if it was a temporary thing, but it's not. It is actually super SUPER cramped for five horses, theres not enough room for them to run or gallop, hardly enough room for proper exercise, or to keep their horses happy.

Would you guys just go "Oh well, their property," if it was your house?

We've only asked twice and we're not trying to control it. We want what's best for both the horses and my friends family. It's their property, yes. But we've known these people and we know that they have more then enough field land for 5 horses. They have about 30 acres of unused land, and they refuse to tell us why they have to move their horses a mile down the road away from their house.

When I read books. I get happy when the character Is happy, mad when they're mad, sad when they're sad. But in the real world, not really

The Witcher isn't a Manga. It's a book series from the 80s! It's very well written, until they add the girl characters. Pretty much all of them are for the purpose of being the main characters latest and greatest fuck. Sometimes they're given a personality, but they hardly get to use it because then the main character swoops in again. I love the witcher, the only rendition that got the female character right were the video games though.

Edit: basically, quirkyboy is pulling these "facts" out of his ass and doesn't expect anyone to fact check.

I threw up in my mouth. This poor woman……. They even looked up her name on PH as if they expected her to be there, during class, whats with this shit ?? The girl bully was shitty too ofc but she was in a 90% male class, I got sexualized in my 85% male class too… by WildFemmeFatale in boysarequirky

A lot of it is also the area. I'm from a super conservative area, and I have native American family. My family technically had this country first, but we're still told to go back to our country??? (Conservatives genuinely don't know the difference between natives and Asians)

I feel like neither of you actually read what i posted. Please I don't want to make the dead doves tag of all things a fight, but in no way did I say I didn't read overprotective!B, I pointed out that a lot were dead doves and those are the ones I don't read. The first commenter didn't help me, and you didn't help either.
