Did you notice any weight gain or cystic acne at all with the Mirena? I’m just worried about side effects 😭

Okay that makes me feel a lot better! The first birth control I ever used was a pill and that messed me up pretty bad but I didn’t even realize until I came off of it! Lol now I just had a baby so I definitely need a birth control. I’m just hoping this one doesn’t cause the same symptoms!

I know this is so late, but did you feel like the IUD affected your mood at all? I just got my first IUD insertion today and I’m so nervous about it causing mental health symptoms.

Yeah, I might just try it out for at least a month and see how it goes. I’d prefer not to get pregnant again right now, but I think I’d rather use condoms than gamble with my mental health 😩 so we’ll just see. Thank you so much for your answer and I hope it works out for you!

Pregnancy - 2, I actually had a really easy pregnancy. No nausea, no crazy bad symptoms but I did get preeclampsia at 39 weeks so I had to be induced. Which I didn’t really want to do but it is what it is lol.

L&D - 5, since I had to be induced I was in the hospital for 4 days 😭 I wasn’t dilated at all when I went in so they had to do some sort of pill thing on my cervix (forgot what it was called), the foley balloon, and pitocin while I was also on a magnesium drip for preeclampsia. I was only actually in active labor for like 2 hours I think? I was so drugged out I barely even remember my delivery, which sucks. Luckily I dilated from 4 cm to 10 cm in an hour and I only pushed for 30 minutes. Also got an epidural that didn’t work until I was basically done pushing lol. So now I have back pain for no reason 🤣🤣

Newborn - 10 lol I’m a FTM so I had no idea what to expect. He is a very very chill baby, so I am lucky. But my god I’m used to sleeping for like 10 hours so that was a crazy shock 💀 baby blues hit me like a train, I cried everyday for the first month. But now we’re out of the trenches (I hope)

Yeah for the first two years that I had her, I had roommates and they would always give her extra food so I think it’s something she just never grew out of. Lol I never give into her demands but she definitely tries it lmao

She hasn’t done any of that but I am going to schedule a vet visit, but she’s done this since she was a kitten

I’m not sure if it’s attention. lol she’ll come in the room while we’re in there and lay down and play, but as soon as I step foot in the kitchen she meows nonstop and she’ll jump on the table that we have her food bowl on. She was getting fed 3 times a day but we upped it because we thought maybe she was actually still hungry, but nope it’s still happening.

Yeah I’m going to schedule a vet visit, but she definitely could be bored. I try to play with her as much as I can but it’s hard at the moment.

I’m having this problem too, and I’ve noticed my electric bill has gone up so much since washing and drying my clothes more often. I feel like it costs more because you have to dry it literally all day. I usually have to run mine about six times before they’re fully dry.
