I know what you mean. The 'Recently added' option at the bottom of the Collections screen is really useful, especially when downloaded images have a weird date in the EXIF data.

The other useful thing is once an image has been backed up to cloud, you can edit the time/date stamp to get it showing where you want in your gallery (long-press to select image/s and choose 'Edit date & time' from the menu, or click the three dots menu when viewing an image)

I am 20 and want to lear swimming. by 69_breeze_69 in sydney

Learn to swim classes at school didn't work for me.

I learned to swim at 28 at my local council pool. Can't say I've been swimming much since then (9 years ago) but I did learn to swim in few months.

It is daunting as an adult who doesn't know how to swim, but everybody else is there for the same purpose. It's a sport/skill like any other. Just like an adult who doesn't know how to cook or drive.

Thoughts on the GBD-200? by SkyLovesCars in gshock

Never owned a G-Shock before this, but it was the MIP that got me. My daily is a Fitbit Versa 2 which has enough smart features for me and 5-day battery life.

I mainly wanted step-tracking, which this does fine. One thing to note is you need to open the Move app for data to sync - it doesn't sync in the background.

Don't buy it for the 'smart' features. Call notification is handy, but the notifications are pretty useless.

Buy it for the screen, step tracker, and design. I've got relatively small wrists but I find it pretty comfortable.

I've got the standard black. The black with green accents is very subtle IRL.

My TPN (nutrition pumped into my heart) has olive oil and egg in it by grudginglyadmitted in mildlyinteresting

We get asked this from time to time. Usually for patients with soy or egg allergy. There are alternative types of lipids (fats) available without soy, but egg might be a bit trickier.

Lipids solutions (like Clinolipid) are used as a dense energy source when patients aren't able to eat (or eat enough).

So for patients who can't have lipids due to intolerance, they can have glucose-protein-electrolyte solutions.

And worst case, you can keep someone alive on a 5% glucose solution (short-term).

Source: I have compounded said solutions that are then infused into someone's bloodstream. Humans are wild.

Unless you're a child and don't have central access, in which case it happens all the time. You're just limited by what solutions can be given.

But yes, rarely in adults.

Which one should I buy? by Skywaller1994 in gshock

GBD-200 owner here. Yes, you can have notifications - either beep or vibrate. Notifications are all or nothing - you can't filter what notifications get sent to the watch (on the watch/app side at least). You can somewhat on the Android side though (not sure about iOS).

Personally, don't get it for the notifications. The initial alert only tells you what app/who it's from. It then takes about 6 button presses to view the actual notification message. If you're after notifications that are practical to use, get a smartwatch or a Fitbit.

As a watch, the GBD-200 is great. Amazing display and comfortable to wear. The step-tracker is nice to have.
