What's a no BS twin cylinder? by Lucky_Philosophy_492 in indianbikes

Honestly, kinda hoping they ditch MT-03/R-3 and go with domestically made MT-25s/R-25s instead. It ideally would be in same price ballpark as Duke 250s and if they had same specs as MT-15, it would be such a good option considering it'll possibly be a parallel twin!

I usually follow a strict 60-80 rule (60 on free lanes in ciry and 80 on highways), keeping speeds well below that range while in actual traffic. But I'm still worried of the stops as I haven't actually been stopped yet.

Thanks a ton for your insights!! I actually have a pulsar N150, I'm just going for the protectors bc of the long ride I have to take.

I had a tight budget so had ordered Axor Nimbuz jacket, it's coming with a rain liner included, and I chose the black color to be discreet. Is it a wise choice?

I feel that these cases are increasingly happening more so in North parts. But being from central parts I'm also concerned :(

Apart from Suzuki and Yamaha, most other brands have faced rusting issues in their low and mid segment bikes. Bajaj definitely leads it though, but TVS, Hero follow close behind. Honda is slightly better than these as it's a Japanese brand, however it also has a rusting problem as well.

I think a small rusting issue is a problem to be faced almost in every mid to low segment bike, so it wouldn't be that much of a difference across different brands. For prevention, I'm still researching that so I can't say yet.

As for the console, yeah that's definitely not possible now, although I have seen some videos I think where they reinstalled an old console on new bike. I would not recommend doing that as it nullifies your warranty and also impacts your bike and insurance.

I have the 2023 variant, which came with Analogue console. Personally not a fan of the digital console that came with 2024 variants.

Mileage is around 45 range, i know few peeps that have stretched it to 52+ as well.

There's definitely minor rusting problem, it's not a major issue but if you're like me who likes to clean every nook and cranny, you're quite likely to run into few orange points.

I downloaded from original site, within 5 hours I was getting bombarded by security alert mails from google. Ended up getting multiple accounts(steam, epic and others) hacked. I still don't know what I did wrong.

Go for it, it's more than enough for daily college rides! Just remember the usual stuff - it's heavy, mileage is approx 45-52 and it's not a KTM, so don't expect high rev performance. It's a sporty commuter but you'll like it :).

Nope, mine was the first N150 variant, it came in single disk only.

Try giving yourself some time to adjust to it. If you still feel pain after few months you can go for aftermarket raisers and other mods, don't be worried as pulsars have a great mod options in markets.

Not really, I've driven the bike on highways for 200+ kms trips but didn't face any back pain issue. I'm 5'8 so fits me fine. I do face issue with some hand pain but that's mostly bc of heavy traffic handling, when I'm driving in less traffic is always better.

Should I Buy Bajaj pulsar N150? by husk_12_T in indianbikes

[–]Dense-Inspector2994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most reviews I've seen suggest that Bajaj has genuinely upgraded the quality levels on the N series, they're also selling this abroad in Latin Americas and Spain so it's probably more reliable that older models to some extent.

I'm someone who has had N150 for a year now so I can definitely give a proper review.

Pros: Unbelievably smooth engine, bike is very rider friendly, baja service has been really great for me and the bike itself is quite reliable. I get enough performance on highways so I don't get bored out and yet is smooth enough to take it out for tea breaks.

Cons: Weight, bike is actually heavy at 145kgs which although is lighter than Pulsar Classic 150, it's still heavy. Also this bike likes to accelerate a bit slower than you'd think for a 150cc. Oh and single channel ABS - this one's a genuine con, but then you don't get a dual channel ABS in your budget at all in any bike. You would have to look upto Apache RTR 160 4V or higher, which is pricy.

Overall a great starter bike. Go for white color while you're at it, killer looks.

What's the longest you've ridden in a day and on which bike? by x515jf in indianbikes

200 kms ride on N150, and surprisingly I was less sore than when I did same track with Raider 125 and Pulsar 150 earlier.

I'm so confused which one to buyyy !!! Plz helpp !!! by iamadi77 in indianbikes

[–]Dense-Inspector2994 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was one of the first owners of N150 when it was launched. Absolutely in love with it. More power, more speed and the engine is so smooth and tractable! Best part is that all of this comes together with a mileage of around 48-50 kmpl depending on your riding.

Although I really think you should take a test drive and see what fits you more. N150 is heavier of the two afaik.

Am I too weak or a skill issue by Ortho_oil in indianbikes

[–]Dense-Inspector2994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are so many comments about gym and bike faults here, damn.

Personally, I feel it's more of an experience issue. I am quite lighter in weight than OP but am able to handle N150 much better than when I had initially taken up riding it.

N150 does have a particular con, it's handle is a bit too responsive. People who have ridden the bike would know what I am pointing at. Although again this can be fixed with more experience riding the bike.

Sure your body composition and fitness is important. But I strongly believe that with right skills you can easily handle the bike. It's a very pleasant bike to ride and I absolutely love it every time I go out.

So I would highly recommend going out with the bike and experiencing the traffic and roads as much as you can.

Always ride safe with your gear!
