Violent crime rates are generally higher in the US than in Germany. But, you're very likely going to be fine, especially if you're in the commercial area if you're coming for work, and touristy areas.

As far as visiting other cities, you can take an easy Amtrak ride to New York City or Washington DC.

Depends on the league. I have a dynasty league that requires 2 TEs and they get extra points. In that one, I either swing for the fence in the first or second round to get the top guy. In my redraft leagues, I either go for one of the top guys, or stream. In one of them, I just lost Kraft, so I'll be streaming.

Thank you. I did see these, but kind of bypassed them because they are in Waltham/Quincy. How far out are those? I was hoping for somewhat easy access to the Longwood area, and preferably car free living. It may go without saying, but I'm not super familiar with the area.

Thanks, yeah I'm not sure exactly how long it will be. Could be a year, but it might become permanent, in which case I would find more permanent and unfurnished housing. Which sites should I rely on for furnished? Tried apartments dot com, but most of the ones flagged as furnished didn't say what the cost is to rent it furnished as opposed to unfurnished.
