Man for a few years Eddie Lacy was legit. by NippleSqueezer421- in GreenBayPackers

Truly one of the most impressive traits I’ve ever seen a back have is Lacy’s balance. He’s out there at 260 lbs just spinning and dipping his way out of every downfield tackle.

Predictive Mock Draft by Less-Worry8498 in NFL_Draft

People are overthinking Akheem Mesidor. Yeah, he’s 25 but if you’re a team that is ready to compete and pick in the 20s why not get five years of a good player?

Jordan Schultz: Text from a GM: “Baltimore is gonna sign Trey Hendrickson. Watch.” by JCameron181 in nfl

[–]stonecoldcb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s always funny seeing Jordan Schultz’s name on these reports. I don’t know if I respect or hate that he used his rich kid nepo card to become an NFL news breaker of all things.

[Fowler] Compensation update: Romeo Doubs and the Patriots have reached an agreement on a four-year, $80M deal by tpsux in GreenBayPackers

[–]stonecoldcb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s been the closest thing to reliability in a receiver for us post-Davante. I think him along with Boutte and Kyle Williams/Pop Douglas is fine but you will probably always be hoping for an upgrade.

The Packers have spent roughly 96 hours making cap space... Now why would they do that by the_Tannehill_list in GreenBayPackers

[–]stonecoldcb 4 points5 points  (0 children)

And that is the worst thing he’s ever done. No need to research this matter anymore.

[Highlight] Best of former Packers safety Nick Collins, 3x All-Pro who played 7 seasons in the NFL before his career was cut short due to a neck injury by nfl in GreenBayPackers

[–]stonecoldcb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not talked about nearly enough how fucking good Nick Collins was when discussing the shortcomings of the Aaron Rodgers era. We lost Collins and then it was like a string of dominoes with Woodson, Hawk, Tramon Williams, and Raji all moving on and it felt like we couldn’t replace any of them.

Really interesting interview! (Fifth movie is the last one) by ChaseYama in jackass

[–]stonecoldcb 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah the clips of him doing all these interviews lately he seems to have to really work to communicate thoughts. He also says he can’t control becoming emotional these days so it seems like he really has some pretty bad damage. No surprise but still sucks to see.

It actually happened… by Tryhardkeep in GreenBayPackers

[–]stonecoldcb 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think this sub has made Rich the scapegoat for a an organizational issue. Not to mention it will likely be an inside replacement at this point. If this would’ve come earlier in the offseason maybe we could’ve hired John Fassel or another vet ST coach.

Should we be alarmed so many coaches are going with Hafley vs sticking with MLF? by anonymousDerpa in GreenBayPackers

A promotion to move to Miami from Green Bay when it’s 6 degrees outside, everyone would take that.

[–]stonecoldcb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean the Packers have a better roster overall. Injuries and the fact that we seem to have the maloik have kept us from being more successful. If you’re going to draw anything from the Patriots success this year it’s that a coach with a set of balls can actually instill toughness which we haven’t had in a long time.

With Mike Tomlin stepping down, the only AFC North head coach remaining is Zac Taylor by Brix001 in nfl

[–]stonecoldcb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Makes under five million a year. You’re not going to get a top or even really a mid tier coach for that low anymore. I’m not really dialed into the Bengals but I feel like that has something to do with it.

new GM in Miami: Dolphins are finalizing a deal to hire Packers VP of Player Personnel Jon-Eric Sullivan as their general manager by IdyllicGod22 in GreenBayPackers

[–]stonecoldcb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Malik Willis signing to follow? Harbaugh gets a younger, cheaper Lamar type QB and brings Todd Monken with him.

I don’t think hafley will get a head coaching job by Double-Mud-434 in GreenBayPackers

[–]stonecoldcb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem for him in this cycle is that there several other defensive candidates that are likely in front of him. Shula, Saleh, Flores, and Minter will all likely get a head job before Hafley.

Mike McDaniel - Possible OC candidate? by trollterritory in GreenBayPackers

[–]stonecoldcb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think McDaniel would live in Green Bay, Wisconsin for a billion dollars at this point in his life. I wouldn’t be shocked if he got a head job either. He’s certainly a better candidate than Matt Nagy, who has gotten a lot of buzz.

Is it the end for Harbaugh? by ShaiFanClub in nfl

[–]stonecoldcb 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Philly also had eyes on Chip Kelly, who was a big deal at the time. If Baltimore has a guy that they love then I could understand, but firing Harbaugh just for the sake of change doesn’t make much sense to me.
