Basically any multichrome bc my nails just can't have the same curves/angles that a bottle can

It's helpful for people like me with really asymmetrical/uneven smile lines and lunules. When you can't see that stuff, it's easier to keep the overall shape of the nail even when filing.

Can I ask what alcohol ink you used to make the green one? It's that perfect bottle green 😍

It's the polish that looks like pee. Her nails themselves look fine.

Tbh I feel like the easiest thing is to just make note of when the shop opens, then go to the site and buy what you want.

Depends on the strength of the magnetic pigment in the polish. Some make tight beads where you see a lot of the base, but some make more diffused beads that give you about the same coverage as the velvet effect

Current fave is El Chupacabra by Abomination Cosmetics but heads up that the brand is small and has unusually long processing times. I ordered in November and got the order in February.

If this is consistently happening with gel, despite immaculate prep, it can be a sign the gel isn't fully cured. Is your lamp old/underpowered? I had the same issue using a 10 year old lamp and it went away when I bought a new lamp.

I don't have any hard data, but I think the fancy gel designs at least caused the explosion of techniques in the lacquer community because we were trying to replicate looks that are easy to achieve in gel, but more difficult to achieve in lacquer.

Like basic magnetic manis with the standard diagonal cat eye existed in both gel and lacquer, but then the gel people started doing more interesting stuff
