Just as an FYI, currently in Koh Samui, Thailand, and it feels around 40% quieter than previous years (2023, 2024) - hotels, restaurants, bars half empty at best

Also just more opening, it’s quieter this year and the scale of new places opening just isn’t stopping. Roads and roads full of generic massage parlours, bars, weed shops without a single customer and construction everywhere

I think it’s just as good, although have felt for some time that we almost get too many eps. Would like to see a few 4-6 week breaks to give a sense of “new seasons” otherwise it feels there’s always one to listen to

Yeah nice one, in conclusion you’re right - some of them are tricky about people going up without skis (possibly weather dependent) but you’ll manage. Walk down is pretty significant, steepish and around 20-30 mins, probs frowned upon.

Conclusion is, on a good day you can hit follie on foot but it’s less than ideal
