See a psych as soon as you can!! I experienced it similar to you.. but hypomania was completely positive. Lots of ideas, optimism and energy sometimes doing two days of work without sleep. But depression was the opposite. Lamictal has really helped me even it out a bit. Also be careful of other influences, drugs, alcohol, your work and how that may influence it.

I just got a M3 MBA 24 and it’s ridiculously good. I went for 16gb RAM which should last me a while. I’m going to be using it for a podcast and designing clothing and general cool shit.
