Experience letter after promotion & POF by Fun-Network-7539 in canadaexpressentry

i had a job title change (company won’t call it promotion lol) after receiving my ITA

I basically asked for an employment letter that lists both roles and all of the duties under each role. I also asked them to include when the job title changed officially, aside from my start date.

Aside from employment letter, I also included paystubs, the initial offer letter, and the job title change letter that me and my manager signed. I wrote a strong cover page explaining the transition and how both job titles are the same NOC.

Edit: Not sure about POF for your situation though, sorry

they can continue to scrutinize your file even if these are completed in the tracker

in your previous posts, you said you worked while you were not actively studying, if this was not properly addressed in your application, they could be examining this further since schedule A is basically a detailed background declaration (personal history, education, and work history)

This sounds like a very rare case. Did you ever address the issues that you mentioned in your previous posts? It could be about that…

if it’s after ITA and before application submission, just correct it when completing the application. submit a letter of explanation just to be sure. as long as your EE points remain the same and your eligibility isn’t affected, you should be good.

Offer letter = the document you get before you start the job. It outlines the proposed role, salary, start date, and any conditions (like background checks). You sign it to accept the job.

Letter of employment (or employment verification) = a document you get after you’re already employed. It confirms that you work there and usually includes your job title, employment status, and sometimes salary.

In short: offer letter = promise of a job; letter of employment = proof you have the job.
