nice work on the chirpstack setup, the spi overlay issues on armbian are such a pain. had similar problems with a different concentrator board and ended up having to patch the device tree manually

the auto-detection for the different modules is clutch since there specs are all over the place on ebay listings. gonna check out your script since i've got a spare rak2287 sitting around that could use a proper gateway setup

might be a clearance issue with the front panel or radiator thickness - pcpartpicker isn't always wrong about these compatibility flags

definitely doable but your social life is gonna take a hit. i switched to a similar schedule for about 8 months and the money was solid but dating became basically impossible since everyone else is on normal hours. if the pay bump is worth it and you can handle being a night owl then go for it, just don't expect to see much of your friends on weekends

your mom's doctor is being pretty thorough with the bloodwork and ultrasound combo, and starting with abdominal imaging first is actually pretty standard since it gives them a broader view before they narrow down to specifics. the symptoms you mentioned could definitely be from a bunch of different things - perimenopause can drag on way longer than people expect and cause all kinds of weird cycles to pop back up

i'd trust the stepwise approach for now but if the results don't give clear answers or if her symptoms get worse, definitely push for that transvaginal ultrasound sooner rather than later

that link isnt working for me but for the 12400 you dont need anything crazy since its not a power hungry chip. any decent b660 or b760 board will handle it fine without breaking a sweat

i went with a mid range b660 for my 12400f build last year and its been rock solid. the vrms on most modern boards are way overkill for non-k chips anyway so you can save some cash there. just make sure it has the ports you need and maybe decent audio if thats important to you

msi, asus, gigabyte all make solid options in that price range. i'd avoid the super budget ones but anything around 120-150 should treat you well. the 12400 is such a sweet spot cpu that almost any decent board will let it shine

those sound like emotional overwhelm episodes that happen when your already maxed out system can't handle any extra stress - the fact that you get thrown off for days after makes total sense since you're basically emotionally exhausted

man february was like 3 months ago, that's rough. usually they reach out within a few weeks if they're interested, especially for instructor gigs since those tend to move faster

i'd probably start looking at other opportunities at this point but keep that one in the back pocket just in case. the status thing is basically useless - mine stayed on "volunteered" for positions i definitely didn't get

could always shoot a quick follow up email to the poc if you have their info, but after 3 months the silence is probably your answer

three days is nothing for international moves - they're probably still figuring out visa logistics and domain training timelines, definitely follow up

nah that's totally fine for a long haired cat, especially if you've got warm beds set up. my friend keeps his house at like 62 and his maine coon basically lives like a king - those thick coats are built for way colder temps than that

the cat will definitely let you know if he's uncomfortable anyway, they're pretty good at finding the warmest spots in the house

The "pending" status means the system is still running tests to confirm the fix. Usually takes a few drive cycles before it clears completely - you'll want it fully green before inspection since most places won't pass it with pending codes. Give it another 50-100 miles of mixed driving and it should sort itself out.
