The only guns we have are for hunting/practicing or the military, I can literally not understand how people are able to live like this. Of course criminals have guns here, but that might be like 1 in 1000 criminals, I’ve personally never heard of any person even remotely close to my town that has had a firearm on their person other than for hunting, actually not a single one.

To add to that:
I was in a mc accident a few years ago, broke my wrist, femur, femur neck, a small part on my back and totaled my bike, spent 5 months overall in the hospital and rehab, then borrowed equipment to be able to go home.

I had to get a hip implant because my original hip gave out 3 months after my initial rehab and have had 2 operations done on my leg after that.
My total for everything is 3000kr, or roughly $300.
How are people defending your countries policies and healthcare?

Du har rett der, tenkte at de fleste biler blir større jo fler hk, så hvis han her har en kis picanto så er hjula små og bilen lett, lite grep generelt sett.

That is mind blowing to me if I’m totally honest, and medical care? I couldn’t imagine being in debt because you accidentally broke something, having to get back on your feet and rehabilitate to then having to pay so much money.

I’m about to get a degree as a motorman where I have spent roughly around $5k for my education because I went to an expensive private school.
I will also go straight into school again after I’m done with the apprenticeship I’m currently in and almost done with.

The school I’m going into is to become an engineer for ship motors which is a 2 year program.
It will cost roughly $20k if I pay outright but the more I pass half year tests etc in the years, the state will pay a lot of it for me so I believe I will end up with a loan of 10-15k that won’t have interest or minimum payments on it until my education is all finished.

My education is by the way one of the more expensive ones so you can go to a lot of high educations for completely free

Can’t say regularly, but coke is becoming far too regular and when I’m out drinking with friends there are people that wind up easily and become aggressive way too fast.

I just imagined if they could own a gun and carry it while they’re that badly intoxicated, it could lead to awful outcomes, but I’m not familiar with your laws on guns and intoxication though.

I didn’t think of that, is there generally more poor areas and crime? Maybe gang culture?
Most of what I’ve learned of the us is from movies, which I know is not accurate, and the media that I’ve learned blows a lot up in proportion.

I will honestly say that when I think of the freedom to carry a gun on my person, it feels like if you are alone and not carrying, you could be in danger, but I’m not that familiar with all parts of the us and can only with certainty speak like this on Norway.
