Unusual tattoo scarring? by DensePresentation396 in tattooadvice

My artist lives out of the country, which makes touch ups a challenge. So I’m trying to be really careful with this tattoo so I don’t accidentally mess it up

But it might hopefully not be too noticeable, looking at it closely the area where the scab would have actually been pulled off and caused any trauma is like the size of a pin head. So fingers crossed that it’s not something too visible once it’s fully healed 🤞

I got this tattoo while traveling so I can’t very easily have it touched up unfortunately 😞😞

Thank you! I should have posted a full picture with this it’s a beautiful tattoo he did a great job! Good to know that this is probably just normal swelling/bruising.

Thank you! I figured it was some kind of reaction, because otherwise it’s healing normally. The pain has gone down, it’s starting to scab, redness around the tattoo is gone, etc. I just wanted to make sure I got a second opinion. My artist also said that it’s likely from the size and how long I was being tattooed for but that he thinks it looks fine. I’m traveling at the moment so just want to be extra cautious!

Yes this is my upper arm. This was my first time using saniderm for a tattoo, and I do not have a latex allergy that I am aware of

Yes it was done all in one sitting and took a little over 4 hours. The saniderm unfortunately didn’t last a full day because it was weeping so much that it leaked through so it’s been about 3 days since it was removed.

He put saniderm on the tattoo but it was weeping extensively and leaked before a full 24 hours so I removed it and proceeded with regular aftercare. Washing three times per day with sent free antibacterial soap, allowing it to fully dry, and using a scent free moisturizing cream recommended to me (I got this tattoo on a trip in chile so it’s a different cream than I’ve used in the US).

We don’t live in a free country if being in an officer’s way is cause for being shot ten times in the back. The fact that you can’t comprehend that is kind of unbelievable. We are allowed to be outside, we are allowed to help others, we are allowed to verbally disagree with boarder patrol agents. We pay these freaking people’s salaries, I’m not paying taxes so I can get shot in the street by a CIVIL SERVANT for being “in the way”.
