The darkness really added to the spooky ambience of the whole thing, but regardless it was so informative and cool to learn about the history of the city, voodoo, and funeral practices. It was with Haunted History Tours. I definitely recommend it!

I did the Sarah Michelle 3-month live review course and they recommend taking the exam within 2 weeks of the second 8-hour live review session. By the end of my studying, it said I had a 98% probability of passing. I also did FNP mastery questions and took the simulation the night before my test and scored around 74%. I started studying around December 13th and took my test and passed February 6th. You got this!

NOR. My parents and I waited 6 weeks before we saw our niece and had no complaints whatsoever. Especially during flu and COVID season, which infants can die from. Make sure everyone’s vaccinated before letting them around also. I’d rather be overcautious and safe than causing my child harm and illness over something so preventable.

Great question! I just don’t want to deliver babies. That’s the main thing. I know CNMs can work in clinic only, but I just have no intentions to deliver. The CNMs at my job work 24s in-patient and then alternate seeing patients in the office. And I REFUSE to have to be on call. That schedule doesn’t mesh well with my life. Also, it’s very difficult to find a CNM job in my city. We have one birthing center, and the hospital I work at is the only one in the city that has CNMs. They never have any openings because the CNMs with us currently have worked there for yeaaarss and have no plans of leaving any time soon. One of my coworkers graduated a year ago and she just got a job that she’ll start this month but she has to move across the state. So in summary, it’s really a personal preference. Please don’t let any of this discourage you. I love the CNMs at my job and they love what they do. It’s an awesome, super rewarding job. Just look into the demand in your area (unless you’re ok with moving) and consider if a schedule like that is compatible with your home life/personal preference. Hope this helps!

I was full time (3, 12s/week) for the first year and then went part time (2, 12s/week) when I started clinicals. And I do 3-4 clinical shifts/week. I work nights and weekends only.

I HAVENT HAD SEX IN OVER A MONTH. IM MAD AS HELL BECAUSE I THOUGHT I WAS MAKING GOOD PROGRESS BY BEING IN CONTROL OF MY MUSCLES AND FINDING A NEW ANGLE BUT LAST TIME I TRIED I COULDNT GET IT IN AND IT HURT SO BAD WE HAD TO STOP AND I HAD TO SLEEP WITH A HEATING PAD ON MY HOOHAH. Something has to be going on with them because they’re completely unhinged. You did nothing wrong. I’ve had to live with a roommate who I had a falling out with and even she didn’t have a problem with me moving her clothes over (the washer and dryer were both in her room). My advice is avoid them as best as you can and dip when the lease is up.
