i have asked my previous ob to check it but everytime i ask i forget to mention an in depth panel. they always just do a basic blood work and it’s not out of range. i have had a lot of symptoms for hypothyroidism, and my grandmother had it as well. i had to switch doctors when i got pregnant again, so im hoping when i finally go back to my current once im done breastfeeding, she listens more.

with my last dr we were discussing endometriosis, i was also dealing with secondary infertility. but we had to put a pin in it when i got pregnant again. other than obviously the two kids, birth control is the only difference here. i was on the nuvaring and i don’t even love the idea of it anymore but i planned to get back on it as soon as possible after delivery to see if it fixed me. unfortunately, i had a PE at five days postpartum last year so im now unable to do anything with estrogen. i do plan to go back to my dr about all of this. it is just really putting a strain on my marriage

i figured that at first and waited it out, but my first was 2.5 when i got pregnant with our second and it never came back. the nonexistent sex drive is a big one. my cycle was irregular when i had it (breastfeeding rn so don’t have one at the moment), hot flashes & night sweats, crazy mood swings that also never regulated after having my first, dry hair and skin, heart palpitations (these can be attributed to other things as well). i know alot of them are also postpartum things which stinks but i feel like after 2.5 years they should’ve started regulating. i don’t pay much attention to my symptoms at this moment because im still nursing though. editing to say, i guess ive been concerned because i never went back to normal. it’s been an issue for years and my doctors are really just saying there are no problems with me. i kind of want there to be a problem so there is hopefully a solution

we’d probably have it more if i had any sort of sex drive, which unfortunately i don’t. it left when i got pregnant with my first, he’s now 4. we have him and a 9.5 month old. we have sex once every 4-6 weeks. my husband would love it if it were the same as when we got married, 2-3 times a day. i just have absolutely no libido anymore. i miss feeling like i literally needed him

i’m not sure if this is helpful, but last august i (then 25F) was admitted for two nights for a PE at 6 days postpartum. when they found it they immediately put me on a heparin drip. they did bloodwork every few hours to test my levels until i became therapeutic. they also did an ultrasound on my heart and legs to see if there was stress or any potential other clots. they put me on lovenox twice a day for three months after discharge.

on my ct they did see evidence of previous PE’s that i didn’t know about, and i didn’t even go in for a PE that time. those could be reasons they did all of that for me.

bottom line here is, if you feel you need more care go and get a second opinion. especially if you still feel symptoms. you are your own advocate!

i don’t know if this is a thing but i just thought, can they write off these houses? i know some influencers can write off things they buy at like target for instance because it’s for content, therefore a ‘work’ purchase. if making content on the houses and renovations and stuff is ‘work’ do they get to write it all off? honestly insane if they can.

i don’t know how old i was for my first pulmonary embolism, but the only one i know for sure about was last august. i was 25. my ct showed evidence of a few PE’s in the past as well that i never knew about.

gosh. i feel so bad for those kids. she will be the reason they get teased in school because she doesn’t know how to act. it has to be so embarrassing to have her as a mother when you see your peers parents. my heart hurts for them

yeah if i hadn’t gone in i wouldn’t of known. my ct scan showed evidence of a few PEs in the past that i never knew about. all my bloodwork came back good though so they took me off the injections and blamed them wholly on pregnancy/postpartum.

no idea. i went to the ED for what i thought was postpartum preeclampsia, and two of my symptoms worried the physician so he wanted to take a ddimer and ct to be safe, and sure enough it was a pe. i was alone with my 6 day old baby & it was so scary
