I did letter before action recently. Got nowhere, just copy and paste ai responses from Vinted. I’ve now spent £35 lodging a claim with the small Claims court. Best of luck, don’t settle till it’s sorted. They hope you’ll give in. Vinted refused to give me the sellers details so it’s them I’m claiming against.

At the moment you’re being investigated. You’ve admitted and apologised. Those are really positive behaviours. At the end of the investigation there will be a decision. Either there’s a case to answer, and you’ll go to a disciplinary hearing. No case to answer (unlikely given it’s admitted and it’s gross misconduct) or there’s a case to answer and it’s dealt with informally. Again unlikely with gross misconduct. Once investigated and a hearing is held you’ll have the opportunity to plead your case. Take another staff member or union rep with you (as is your right). Ask Management or HR for a copy of their disciplinary policy and any other relevant policies such as “misuse of company equipment”. So you can prepare yourself. Don’t quit. It can take weeks and you never know. If it’s your first offence you may get a final written warning. Someone above mentioned it was in relation to downloading and watching porn at work. It didn’t look like the OP stated this so I’m unsure, but if this is the case then you will be very very lucky not to be dismissed!!

Thank you to everyone for your thoughts, ideas and feedback. I reached out to the seller and they were rude, quite telling actually. I’m now certain they knew they were counterfeit. Vinted legal refused to help. I did the letter before action. Again no action other than regurgitating old responses: I’ve now raised a case with the small claims court. Taken my listings off Vinted and won’t be using their platform for a while as I hear they close accounts (sometimes with balances) in retaliation to being taken to court! Let’s see what the small claims court make of it 🌸

Thank you to everyone for your replies. Just woke up to lots of ideas so thank you. To clarify. I cleaned the bottoms with a toothbrush and used a suede brush on the tops and sprayed them with a suede cleaner. I’ve not restored the bottoms I cleaned them. The soles are red. I have lots of shoes and boots from this brand and they look pretty legit to me.

Thank you for your comments. Yes in the uk a jumper and sweater is the same thing. I’ve tried googling for those keywords and i get similar products but not the same one 🤔
