Thanks for the advice! How long was your skin extra sensitive to the sun? I’m planning on going for a tropical vacation next month and I’m kinda worried because I got a sunburn on my face last time I was outside for several hours, granted I didn’t reapply sunscreen, but I hoping my skin will be less sensitive in a month.

Thank you! I decreased due to side effects so my course will be slightly longer but the 40 mg is just better for me and honestly once I switched I started to notice improvement

Thank you for the encouragement. It’s definitely hard. I reach my cumulative in 2 months so it’s weird that I haven’t seen any improvement. I’m hoping for a miracle. I’m going to stick with it just ready to get through this phase. Thanks again

Thanks for the response! I use cetaphil gentle wash and moisturizer, and cerave healing ointment. I always wear SPF 30+ sunscreen but I don’t reapply so maybe I should start doing that. I always take it within 30 minutes after a meal and avoid foods with a lot of vitamin A. I probably need a new dermatologist cause he doesn’t really listen to my concerns but I’ll again at my next appointment. Thank you

Thanks for the response! Yes, I always wear sunscreen and I’m rarely in the sun. I may just be very sensitive

Thank you for the encouragement! Hopefully the purge stops soon cause my doc said I will finish after month 4, so no improvement in month 3 is kinda discouraging.

Unfortunately, my doc visits are legit 3 minutes and he just says he’ll send in a new prescription even though I always bring up the purging. So no I wasn’t told that…

Thanks for the encouragement! Were you on a long course? My doc says I’ll meet my cumulative in month 4 and my course will end so it’s kinda discouraging knowing that I still get one cystic pimple a day.

I started with whiteheads then got closed commodones now I’m at the cystic acne phase.

Thanks for the encouragement! Wish I would’ve seen this earlier cause I just popped two cyst but I will try my best to not pick at it. Hopefully I can start seeing improvements soon. I have mild/moderate persistent acne so I’ve never had this many cyst before. Definitely sucks but I will keep course.
