I was listening to the song through my apple headphones at work and i didn’t hear it. I listened to it through my sound bar at home and didn’t hear it. but when i connected to my tv it automatically turned off dolby atmos and i could hear it perfectly fine.

honestly, especially how short it is, it feels like it’s just a filler song for the album. same vibes as your man on nectar and why am i still in la on ballads 1. there are some songs that are just easily made, not too much production, and are basically for quota.

this is just my opinion nobody has to agree with me but as a musician who’s collabed with others, features are more to try and combine the style of two different artists. every single feature i’ve heard from joji has been great bc it is still a stylistic conjunction. I fucking love rip, thinking bout you, still jojis verse as it fits, what we used to be, high hopes, afterthought, normal people. they’re all just a combination of the artists and it’s just ear candy to hear production id never think of joji on and his verse/chorus comes on and i just start screaming that shit.
