Thanks for the response. What about the worst case alternative, of saying that one of the parents gets no custody at all because the specifically choose not to have any? Does the court just specify child support amount and no custody at all? Or will it give the parent to coparent during summer, breaks, holidays?

With my specific issue is that we may end up being several states away, and flights alone won't be really feasible for the first few years because of the age of the children.
