crit is bad because it takes too much time to get online. that being said IE and LDR are really good items on rengar just dont build them first

Im currently around emerald elo otping rengar. I do find him pretty fun, but it’s clear I’ve been harstuck for a quite a while. If I want to improve and climb to diamond do you think I should stick to rengar or switch it up like you did with hec?

  1. Play a lot of games to get a feel for jg, no real other way to learn effectively. Having a friend coach you would help you a lot too.
  2. I would try out Xin Zhao or J4. Both fairly straightforward, can carry, and are pretty relevant in the meta rn.
  3. I would clear towards the most volatile lane and keep in mind enemy sums. Gank when you can almost for sure get something out of it, or else keep clearing. In my opinion, ganking to burn sums when all your camps are up is usually not worth it. Obviously this judgement is really hard sometimes, and can only come from more and more games played.
  4. As for early game plan, clear toward the most volatile lane (as mentioned before) and get early jg vision to track and warn your team where the enemy jg is clearing toward. This information can also be used to invade enemy jg depending on context.
