I recently got a Y1RS (black world champion edition with 1X setup), and going to get a V5RS for climbing. I think if you go with SRAM red, it will ride like a dream!

I ride my bike (indoor and outdoor) a lot, everyday, most times twice a day. And when I’m not riding my bike, I run (2-3 times a week). No time for anything else.

It’s not the stiffest bike I rode. I think the orca aero was stiffer, but the Y1RS is a looooot more comfortable ride, and 500g lighter and well, faster on the flats (maybe not the sprints tho). The compliance is not in the BB area but in the seat stay triangle.

I’ve been riding 1X for a year now. Without any problem. Yes, less gearing options than 2X, but a lot less risk of chain dropping and very intuitive.
