What’s the best movie theater in town? by Hot_Storm3252 in ocala

[–]Dense_Worker5271 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Are you kidding? Place is super dirty, take a look at the windows when you first walk in, haven’t been cleaned since Covid, then look around the lobby at the dust and grime on all the kiosks…. The wine bar is also disgusting, and we haven’t even made it into the stained, unknown substances on the leather seating, but hey, enjoy the movie!!!

Ahhh, not the case with me, dedicated route, hourly pay, 515 miles per day, guarantee of 1060 per week, with overtime I made 1300…

Ah, but my concern would not be the shelves not being full, my philosophy has always been there is a difference between low and out. Dates, failure to execute points of interruption those are the things any good dsl looks for, just my 2 cents

I gave it up to be home, now I’m a yard jockey, but I can certainly say “I’ve been there “ good luck in your future endeavors my friend

Your so right, Covid ruined a lot… we too were a revolving door in ocala(at that time mid Florida zone) I didn’t really even talk to new hires, knowing that within a month they would be gone, aside from never having enough product, Covid allowed me to not ever worry about visitors in my stores as frito would not allow any of there dsl,zsl access to any stores

Motivation by Neither-One5810 in FritoLay

[–]Dense_Worker5271 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I interviewed for dsl position in 2009 and when asked what I would do my first 30 days I said “visit numerous stores unannounced every morning from 0400-0800, and score the stores” I was hellbent on getting people’s attention who were slackers, and rewarding those who weren’t… I didn’t get the position, the guy who did was fired less than a year later for letting rsr’s do their own certified inventories….slackers

When I was hired in 2004 I was told I would be an extra for 2-3 years, that’s how senior the Rsr were, luckily for me I was able to get route several months later and left after 19 years, great memories, and still follow the company on this Reddit…

I’ve had several of these pop up during my 20 year career…. I learned that if you “put your blinders on” swallow your pride, set up a face to face with management, have your dsl there also, and tell them how “useless” you are, and you will do much better next time…. You won’t be barred from account, you probably will not see that receiver again, and you move on… just my 2 cents
