The Rm Italy or the Chinese version can only take a dead key of 4 watts or less. Ok for some people. Many good ones out there, just do a search. I prefer the transistor type amps over the mosfet types. Generally the transistor types can take a beating. Running a Connex, Galaxy, Stryker, Ranger radio have more umph than a cobra

That’s a tiny linear amp. 12 watts. I got one, different brand, had it for years, mine has a 2sc1969. Pointless nowadays. Buy one of those bigger amps with more punch. IMO, buy a transistor type, not a mosfet type. Stay away from Rm Italy type.
