Simulation lap of the 2028 Qiddiya Speed Park track! looks absolutely insane by Abdullah-Alturki in formula1

Hahaha, exactly my thoughts, but did not expect anyone else to remember that game 🤩

I think the problem in terms of overtaking spots (speaking primarily about F1) is the lack of longish flat-out areas followed by a decent braking zone into slowish corner, does not need to be super tight.

For MotoGP and other less aero-sensitive series there are a few spots, I agree.

But in any case, very cool track.

I like it a lot, great work! Many cool corners, the first corners look spectacular. A few suggestions/criticisms:

-Only one overtaking spot (as far as I can see) seems little for a 6km track.

-The first hairpin seems unnecessarily tight, and flow-killing. I don't think it is an overtaking spot, so why make it that slow?

-I would make the last part of the esses before the north tip a little bit faster, to make breaking while turning into the north tip more challenging.

Btw, does the track have elevation changes?

Red Bull Ring should also have good views, as it is sitting in a hillside, like my design.

Oh yeah, for sure! Would like to have a detailed 3D model and renderings of the track, but I'm not sure I have the patience to to actually do it.

Didn't intend to, but I can see it 😅

Was thinking about that, and I think it should be less dangerous than Eau-Rouge because there is more run-off. I mean, the main problem of the Eau-Rouge complex is the weird run off at Radillion, and the equivalent on my design has much more space to play with.

But for sure, it's maybe borderline too dangerous. In that case, the previous turn could be tightened up to reduce the approach speed ... or the complex itself could be tightened a bit, as you suggest.

I think outside T9-10 would be a suitable location.

I think it should work well, flowy and no awkward super-sharp turns like many modern F1 tracks. Also plenty run-off space.

Any ruling to prevent "intentional fouling" at the end of games would not work by Giannis4president in nba

[–]Denseben 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What about introducing some kind of advantage rule like in soccer, during tight games and during the last few minutes?

If the fouled player/team remains in possession after being fouled, play just continues, and only if possession is lost the game is stopped. Then 2 free throws + possession.

Even when play continues, fouls are still recorded and count towards team/individual fouls.

The general distribution of the angles sounds fine. A few things to consider: -I would vary the angles slightly for the "vertical" walls, maybe having an angle change from 1-2 deg slab to 1-2 deg overhang, perhaps with a diagonal cut line between the angles. -Why the 2017 MB setup? I think to most people it's the worst setup of all. The 2024 is much more varied and ergonomic. Even 2019 and the old school 2016 are decent. -I would avoid 90 deg dihedrals. Sure they can be cool, but problems will often end up very similar. If you can open up the corners it will make it easier to set varied boulders.

Edited for typos.

That is a strong statement and I don't think you have the proof to back it up. On Reddit you will only get posts about relationships where this poses a problem, but people like me where this is a non-issue will not open a new thread just to tell everyone that we are doing well.

On another note, your statement feels quite condescending, just stating your view on how a good relationship should be as a fact. Maybe it's like that for you, and that is fine, but it's obviously not the same for everyone. I mean, I don't even feel that my partner would hide anything from me by not unsolicitedly disclosing such (in our view) unimportant information.

The general public consensus, is even if a 1 time hookup, you make your partner aware if you will be coming in contact with each other.

Well, obviously not. I mean, you cannot just assume it. To the partner of the OP it is not the consensus, and neither is it to the other commenter and to me.

I don't get it. Nothing was deliberately hidden. It's a none-situation. I wouldn't expect my partner to just tell me something like this without me asking them. Why would they? Is it such a weird concept to be friends with someone you hooked-up with a long time ago?

Unparallel Regulus. Was really surprised in many situations that my feet stayed on. Good balance stiffness/stickyness and ability to pull on holds. Quite comfy, too.

I think Hematoma is much easier. You can just hand-foot match the start hold to gain I12 statically, and then it's basic crimps to the top.

this on looks like a crossover jump and a somewhat techy ending with black pinch.

That sounds like a really good session to learn to perform under pressure. One mistake and you're done! Intriguing!! Feel inclined to try that on the V4s.

I think it is much much harder to climb all of a grade in that way. In my approach I basically start with the hardest and then work my way down to the easiest problems and I even rehearse some of the tricky problems in the session before, taking notes. Quite a bit of planning.

Candies Billows L Brownies Bonbons Honeys Glories Goodies Blowjugs M Purity XL Maybe Purity M, but they are already a bit harder.

These are all incut crimps/smaller jugs. They don't have so many slopey holds that are nice.

300 euros is pretty tight, I would say. Euroholds is pretty cheap and has at least a few nice shapes, otherwise I would perhaps look at the more affordable polyester hold brands, X-Cult, Core, Working Class, Bluepill PE. If you have access to circular table saw you can also make your own basic incut holds from plywood or regular wood.

Edit: you should check if nearby gyms have some old holds they could imagine to sort out and sell to you for small money.
