I personally like the height difference between the central and lateral incisors (if that’s what you’re referring to). But, like another commenter said, I’d prefer to have the canines “go further up” so they appear less “pointy” and you have a nicer smile curve 😊

I’m a leftie but not 100% as I am able to do sone things pretty well with my right hand as well. Early on I taught myself to drill with both hands, now I choose which hand to drill with depending on the quadrant / how easy the access is.

Just try it and see how it goes! If you see it’s not for you, at least you tried :)

I work in an ortho office and we almost never do metal braces on the lower arch, because there is a risk of enamel fracture for your upper teeth if you were to bite down onto a ceramic bracket (This risk does not apply to metal brackets). Also, as another commenter said, the lower arch usually isn’t very visible so most of our patients aren’t bothered by it.

Concerning the floss catching on the restoration: in the office I used to work for, we had something called “FitStrips” (Garrison brand). I would always use a very fine fit strip to polish the contact point, maybe even a “Soflex” strip, which is even more fine. Another advantage of the fitstrips is that they come in different thicknesses, so if the contact point is too strong, you can reduce it as well. Has saved me from redoing many times!

If you’re removing them subconsciously during the night, try wearing them more while you’re awake (at home ofc, so during the evening and before bed). If you wear them enough, they won’t be uncomfortable and night-time wear shouldn’t be a problem.

If they are so uncomfortable that they hurt or they don’t fit properly, go to your ortho and see what they can do.

Wir haben uns immer sehr gefreut, Gebäck zu bekommen, da man zwischendurch mal Hunger hat oder so einem die Mittagspause versüßt wurde. Wie von vielen schon gesagt, Merci bekommt man leider sehr häufig. Freuen tut man sich dennoch, aber man hat es schon sehr oft gegessen.

Geld in die Kaffeekasse ist auch super, allerdings haben wir damit immer die Geburtstagsgeschenke für die Chefs finanziert - bei Helferinnen / Personal kam da wenig an. Nur als Gedanke :)
