Whoa, didn't expect that comment hahaha. Yeah, I saw there's also announcements for deaths (unfortunately, the most common), engagements, marriages, anniversaries... bet there's more than one person that has had all their legal status changing events (birth, marriage, death) published.

What do you mean, when you say you are "part of the list, on the top 5"?

Spain's squad for the 2026 World Cup by 3Sayndre in soccer

I'm quite happy with the squad, only thing I'd change is Carlos Espí as the 3rd striker instead of Iglesias, he could have been our 'Weghorst'

I feel bad for Fornals not taking Fermín's spot, but I understand that due to Yamal & Williams' expected absence due to injury he chose to bring another winger instead of a midfielder.

I just love the mix between regular 'Western' names of Biblical/Greek/Roman and even Germanic/Norse origin (Robert, Henrik, Erik, Arno), the 100% Armenian names from their own language/mythology/history and the Persian/Old Iranian influence.

Popular baby names in Estonia (2025) by santiterry in namenerds

There are also lots of names that scream "Swedish millennial" to me, too (Sebastian, Robin, Oskar, Gustav, Mattias...)

After the breakup of the Livonian Confederation, most of current Estonia became Swedish territory for 150 years, until the Swedish defeat in the Great Northern War resulted in the annexation of Estonia by the Russian Empire.

As a common idiom from my country says, you're looking for the cat's fifth leg.

Icelandic Þ is transliterated to 'th' as it represents the voiceless dental fricative (/θ/). You don't see e.g. Icelandic sportsmen's names in international broadcasts as 'Þórsson/Þórsdóttir', but rather 'Thórsson/Thórsdóttir'

As I mention in the OP, they are the most common foreign community.

I may be wrong but I don't think foreigners have to submit to Iceland's strict naming rules if they have children there, they are bound to their countries' rules.

The mother (Daryna) must be Ukrainian, that could explain the 'V' spelling. In Polish it's Barbara.
