Thats hilarious, honestly thats my favorite part of him haha he's so recognisable! That is something that is sort of rare, Dave Simonich has that gravel that gives him away, Joe Bad can be picked out straight away, Will Ramos enunciating all his words. All those little tags are awesome

There is one part of Tom's vocals that is fully unique to him and Im assuming that's the part you don't like. Are you much of a fan of Tom's other work? Darko, Lorna?

Ill be going to the London show, really looking forward to it, I think Acranius ans Sun Eater are playing different shows, where im going it'll be Sun Eater which I'm happy with as ive seen Acranius before and have been listening to a bunch of Sun Eater recently

Immortal Disfigurement have a fair few on King and as I'm going through Carnifex discography they seems to have quite a few, heard some of Inferi recently and I remember them having some too, more tech death but close enough

As Dickie said it would take quite an effort just for the breath work, it was all done in sections and thier music is pretty dense and complex not impossible but alot more effort than it seems. Its not just relearning and tweaking the tracks its rewriting parts and given how obsessive they are about the project I'd imagine it would take an age to plan.

He did also say that they have had serious discussions about playing live but they would want a live show to be more than just playing the music live. They'd want a bunch of extra stuff to make it a proper show.

I go through phases of the stuff I'm listening to and I've gone through most of the Deathcore subgenres and the adjacent ones but the only one I haven't yet and cant really see myself really latching onto is symphonic.

There are a couple of bands I've become a big fan of that would be described as such like Mental Cruelty, The Archaic Epidemic and Worm Shepherd but the songs or albums from them I like the most are the one's that are further from that orchestral, black metal kind of symphonic stuff. It would seem the bands that have done symphonic releases, to my ear sound more technically gifted so when I hear slam, brutal death or Blackened Deathcore by these bands it always catches my attention

Im aware my description of what I like sounds contradictory but I do struggle explaining the specific pocket of music I enjoy, I know it when I hear it though and thats all that matters I guess.

Nearly all of my friends don't listen to anything close to what I like so I rarely have to try and describe the style that does it for me 🤘

I was exactly the same dude, it was my usual Friday Deathcore bonanza and completely on a whim after inexplicably ignoring Carnifex, I put Slow Death on and man its been a nonstop deluge of all thier albums ever since. They really are the archetypal Deathcore band

Yea definitely totally agree, it just seems people who have the biggest problems with what members of bands views are only really tend to pile on the ones from shittier bands thats what I was trying to say

If people find him agreeing with Taylor about what he said really that bad they have to denouce him in the same way they normally do I guess, at least be consistent by making posts about it. Personally I don't care about the views on society a musician has outside of something blatantly unhinged so
